In general, almost all of the companies I've dealt with have delayed shipments. It seems to me that is part of the "patience" aspect. My experience has been that it is more of a bright Prints made from the filament or those made from it that are saturated with Bright Light may actually appear more of a pastel yellow color.

You shouldn't use this unless you want your extruder to die
3/5

This is a brand that I used to swear by. The key In effect, they decided that it would be a good idea to tie the filament ends onto the spool, but they need to hire someone to do this. Now I have 3 spools going in a row. If you run out of plastic on a print, instead of shorting the filament sensor, your extruder pulls the thread over, knocks over the printer, and grinds away at the filament, tearing up your extruder until you catch it or the print is ended. The brand of filament I am currently using will not be purchased again.

There are some problems with the under extrusion, but you may still be able to use it! When I printed the same model using two other colors and it came out perfectly, I thought it must have been a bad roll
3/5

However, the yellow Hatchbox prints were grossly under-extruded. It turns out that this spool was not compatible with my retraction settings due to the plastic, not to the physical spool! In the event you find yourself under extrusion, Make sure the nozzle is clean. It doesn't matter if this isn't the reason for the cleaning, you know it is overdue. 2) try to push plastic through a hot nozzle manually. In that case, it's probably a problem with your software. If it goes through smoothly with little disruption, that's likely the problem. For me, retraction was set to 25mm/s and something like four or five percentages, as per Cura standards Measure 6 mm. With those settings, I was able to print the same model on previous rolls, As soon as I turned off retraction, the print came out The reason is possible due to the spool's weight or shape, because when retraction kicks in, the spool swings backward, then when retraction unwinds a second later, the spool is still swinging, adding resistance. Before you leave a negative review, give it a shot. The pros are There seems to be no jamming in the prints, they seem smooth. It is good that the color is green. In my opinion, this product is not suitable for retraction at standard speeds, so I am only giving it 3 stars. I can probably get it to work by reducing retraction, but I didn't need to do this with the other brands I was using.

There is no quality control
3/5

There was a different feel to this reel compared to other Hatchbox PLAs. Besides these colors, there are also others that have a smooth texture and one, on the other hand, felt grainy and brittle like it was improperly stored and on the verge of breaking. However, it is the way the roll was reeled up that concerns me the most. The strands were crossing over one another, crossing from one edge to the other and back again. In order to prevent tangling, they should usually be aligned side by side. An overnight print resulted in tangling for me as well. As luck would have it, I stopped the print before any damage was done to the printer. As a result of the overlapping, the filament was unable to unravel due to a kink. My extruder was pulling unrelentingly on the reel and no turn was forthcoming. I had to spend several hours untangling, unrolling, and respooling after removing the reel from the printer. It took me a while to roll the rest of the reel before I could start again. You might get an encounter like mine if you get a bad reel, like I did. Keep track of the reel and try not to let it get out of control.

Now, the only thing that is premium are Hatchbox prices
5/5

It is best to purchase Prusa filament of the highest quality. In relation to the quality of the product. This brand (Hatchbox) has been on my wish list for a long time now. It has been several months since I received my first Prusa Filament. I had never seen windings so perfect and so smooth flowing with precision dimensions so nearly perfect 1. I saw them first hand in Prusa. This filament is 75 microns. Hatchbox was the only option I found for $20 US on average because, although the quality falls short of that of Prusa Filament, it was the only choice for me. The Hatchbox filament seems to have not changed at all except for its price. It now costs the same or more than the much better Prusa filament. When all things are equal and prices are the same, I'm going all in on Prusa brand filament with its superior dimensional accuracy. You can immediately tell when it is a good spool by the way it winds in perfect rows. My prices will rise if I have to pay a premium. Maybe I should just order the premium filament while I'm here. I don't think that is Hatchbox at all. This is why Hatchbox removed its strongest point of sale. Pricing has everything to do with it!.

There are no pluses or minuses The quality of the rolls I have received has declined in the last few rolls I have received from Hatchbox
3/5

Spending the extra for +/- can also be irritating, especially if you are not paying attention to it The filament and hatchbox have been It has been over five years since the adds were updated Throughout my experience with rolls, I've come across a few of them. When I first noticed random lines in the shells of my prints, I thought I had a printer problem. It became apparent that it was because of the big variation in thickness from one layer to the next in the fibrilant.

This has been a good experience Hatchbox's filament has never been my choice in 3D printing, but I've been a 3D printing enthusiast for about three years
5/5

There are two sources from which I have all the 3D printing experience I have There is a college of hard knocks, and there is a Though this is a lame pun, it appears that a number of YouTubers have proudly revealed they are using There have been numerous recommendations for Hatchbox on online forums, but I have yet to find any items that look appealing on Amazon. Despite the bad reviews, I chose not to buy the product. To date, my preferred method is 3D Solutech is the source of filament. The filament they provide has been my favorite so far. This year, I decided to take on some 3D printing projects, and I'm printing three different objects in all the filament colors I have. I bought several spools on Amazon, and to my dismay, 3D Solutech didn't have yellow filament. Hatchbox seemed like the perfect opportunity to try it out. My experience with this filament has been similar to what I had with 3D Solutech's filament The system works without clogs, with no adhesion issues, with no layering issues, etc. Even though I have yet to set any parameters for this spool, I am getting good results when I use my "GAS PLA" settings. Generally printing comes out clean, with only a very few very thin "hairs" of stringing that disappear with heat, and that has only happened on a handful of prints, it is not It prints well with no need for post-processing on most of the prints I've done with it. As some of the spools of filament I ordered were damaged on arrival, this Hatchbox filament was of even greater pleasure to work with. Because the spool is not damaged, the filament is wound neatly, so I haven't had trouble unraveling or tangling the filament Thus, this kind of thinking might actually get me considering Hatchbox for future filament needs as well.
