Turned wood details look great with this tool

As I sanded the turned details on the spindles and armrests of a maple rocking chair, I used this cord. This cord worked perfect after removing the finish with a stripping gel.
The reason I gave it 4 stars is that the abrasive weakens very quickly, and I'm not sure if other abrasive cords operate this way. It is not the best product, but it does the job.

This should not be used to adjust fine adjustment

Not the best item to use in sanding guitar saddles or nut. There is no way to gauge how delicate a depth you will need, and you cannot reverse your decision once you have made it. A great deal of residue from the cord will remain on the work surface after this. In the end I opted for, cut and used small 400 grit automotive sandpaper pieces and found the results I was seeking. I simply do not know what to do with this cord anymore, so that is my dilemma.

Micrometer is a great tool for getting the right size

You are doing an awesome job. Piston rings were cleaned with it by cleaning the ring gaps. It is fine to order the wrong size. Just make sure you order the right one. It was great to work with you.
