For the intended use, this is not satisfactory

For refinishing chairs with turned spindles after having used paint stripper, there is no point in spending any more money. The idea of sanding spindles on fresh wood might work better than turning them However, make sure you work on your turning skills so that you won't have to sand as much.

This is an ideal finish for turning The spindles on a chair I need to refinish need to be turned Paint stripper was used first then abrasive cord was used to clean up
