The Milwaukee Premium Series 4-1/2" Depressed Grinding Wheel for Metal Is 4-1/2" in diameter by 1/4" in thickness and 7/8" in height. It's optimized for Milwaukee 4-1/2" Angle Grinders and compatible with other models with a 5/8" arbor.
Designed in Brookfield WI with Premium White Brown Fused Aluminum coupled with Makita's exclusive phenol resin bond for optimal grindability for performance, abrasiveness and balance. This wheel provides longer wheel life and sharper edges than others in its class.
Its high-performance brown fused aluminum grain and hard bond make these Makita wheels ideal for grinding steel and metal, including welds, structural steel, iron, steel pipes, and alloy steel for an extra-long service life.
A grain grit and 1/4" thickness that is carefully selected and balanced can provide ample grinding life, stock removal rate, precision, power consumption, and heat build-up options, which allow you to grind longer, consistently with maximal wheel integrity, moderate power consumption, and relatively low heat build-up.

Questions & Answers
Can I use my Makita grinder to grind brass and stainless steel with this disc?
Suitable for ferrous materials, these wheels are made of steel. You should avoid using them on non-ferrous materials such as aluminum, brass, copper, etc., since they can load up and overheat, potentially resulting in an explosion. For the removal of brass, I recommend using a sanding pad.

Cast iron is well suited for this product. Very sharp and cuts through quite quickly, while staying sharp up to 22 times longer than cheaper knives.

downside was the number of discs in each box as opposed to 10 and they were all over the place. Would have been better if they were.
