Ceramic will not be a problem for it to grind. It is harder to break a diamond than a *br>Make sure you wear personal protective equipment. A concrete crumbles to dust, but some ceramic chunks remain sharp and large.
You can use this diamond cup to flatten concrete easily. Cut down a recess in concrete is not easy with this saw. If you want square edges, you will need another cup. Using a 1/2" cutter, cut a few grooves in the concrete and knock off the top 1/2". If you want to remove all the concrete, you can cut more grooves. Flatten the bottom of the diamond cup with this tool. It is much faster to cut concrete than to grind it.
I had used it to clean plywood floors, cement board, porcelain tile, block and cement, among many other things. It will leave a smooth surface, but not a polished one. This is a very useful Kitman RV.

There should be a matching center tapped hole on the cup as most grinders have a standard thread size. If you can't find the thread size mentioned in your owners manual, you can contact us.
For resurfacing a garage floor (125 square feet), I purchased a wheel like this and it worked great. In the future, I see myself using this type of tool to shape stone retaining walls that we use for our gardens, or simply to prepare stone surfaces for any type of treatment that may be necessary. There is only one opportunity in this The tool does not have a BS insert that is susceptible to failure. A wheel with teeth as good as this one is a rarity. The Dewalt take I am talking about I have never been disappointed in (if I were disappointed, it would be obvious to you).
Use it with a powerful angle grinder, not a wimpy one. With ten minutes' work, I burned up the motor on a cheap grinder I was leveling off a cement ramp leading up to the In just a few minutes, I got the job done using a "good angle grinder. " Make sure you wear the right protection as the wheel can generate some dust. Do not stop moving the wheel as you are likely to grind depressions into the surface. In the next step, I leveled some forty-year-old concrete so that posts for a platform deck could be anchored there. I was up to the challenge, even if it took some work. The wheel is a highly aggressive grinding wheel that, as long as it is used properly and with the proper equipment, works very well. It did cause the wheel to wear down significantly on the old hard concrete, but that turned the tough job into a piece of cake.
The item was purchased so that about 100 s would be removed. Bathroom thinset sample from a slab of concrete. On a cheap $15 Chicago Electric grinder from Harbor Freight I used it. I was very pleased with it. Just about 10% of the material was worn down. The wheel is of very good quality. Please note It is imperative that if you are using it indoors (indoors) that you purchase a dust collector to go around it, otherwise, you will be thoroughly disappointed. The dust collector is equipped with a I was able to vacuum without any problems. The problem has been solved. I didn't need any mask to blow away more than 95 percent of the dust.
I ordered it from Dewalt. After almost an hour of cleaning onyx at the edges of two different pieces of stone, one very hard and one a bit softer, there was still plenty of raised pad to be cut off. More of these will be purchased by me in the future. A RECENT UPDATE My use of this product has now lasted for five years It has been 6 weeks since I began using it and I am still The abrasive pad still has plenty of life left in it even after grinding hard stone for more than 50 hours, and it continues chewing through stone like it did on the day I purchased The following is an update for Update I noticed there was a crack going from one of the radial holes to the outer edge after almost 4 months of use. After using it for two days, I stopped using it for fear it would fly apart. I was bummed, since the pads still had a lot of meat on them. Since then, I have been using it wet with my center feed grinder/polisher Makita. I can clear dust from the work table quickly with it, and even at 4500 RPM, it's just as good as my angle grinder for eating through stone at 11,000 RPM.
The larger the grinder, the flatter the surface will be, so you need to move it around constantly to maintain a smooth surface. Once you use it for the very first time, you will be surprised to see how much is created. You will need to reseal your concrete afterwards. I find it surprising every time I use it. It should be obvious, yet it never fails to surprise me. If you want, you can use it wet with a lot of water or you can even take advantage of a vacuum attachment with a good vacuum. The cement dust screws up your lungs and turns you into a ghost, so you should definitely wear a Tyvek suit, respirator, or dust mask and vacuum to protect yourself.
This thing will remove a lot of When I used it on concrete, I was amazed at how fast it chewed it up. There is an unholy mess involved, but it works fine. Keep an eye on what you are doing. Getting behind you doesn't mean you can put it back any sooner. (Yes, I know from experience. ) If it "kisses" an object you don't want removed, it will gouge immediately. Buying Dewalt products is a better value than buying cheaper brands. You may pay a little more up front, but the end result is worth it.
I had a lot of self-leveling concrete that did everything except self-level. It's time to break out the air chisels and some diamond wheels. cut the job down to size in a jiffy, making what could have been a long, overwhelming process a lot easier. Wes finished the job, and the wheel looks the same as it did before, minus some wear and tear on the finish. I still get the same quality of cuts from it as when I first owned I bought mine for a little more than some others, but it was perfectly balanced, so I expect it will last me a long time.
