Because it's a universal adhesive, it should stick to any clean, smooth surface.
There is, in fact,
They could be from the Taylor company based on the selection pack, so if you're unsure, type 3M or Taylor into the search bar. Why choose an unknown brand when you can always use the search bar to find a good company brand? It makes no sense to purchase an unknown brand if it is slightly less expensive than a 3M product or a company like Taylor.
I believe it is 3 million dollars.

These are ok; they get the job done, but they aren't as good as cheap stones. I was able to achieve a very good mirror bright edge, but it was not any easier or faster than working with stones. No, this will not take your sharpening to the next level, no, this will not replace your stones, and no, they are not significantly better than the wet/dry sandpaper you can buy at the auto parts store. In conclusion, if you want to try something different or have no other way to sharpen, these will work for you, but they come with three float glass plates and cost $59. There are a lot of better ways to do it, 98. br>Quick tip: when sharpening a knife with a bolster, make sure the edge of the film lines up with the edge of the glass; otherwise, you won't be able to sharpen all the way to the base of the blade.
For a higher price, cut lengths. These will need to be cut to fit your polisher. There are no additional adhesives required. br>I bought them to use with the Worksharp Precision Adjust as higher grit stropping/mirror-finishing additions. polishingbr>I got the idea from Sweet Knives on YouTube, and if you're rich and lazy, he sells precut lengths on eBay.
In the short term, it is less expensive than having a half-dozen stones. This works great whether you're using it dry or with a lapping fluid. br>I'm not sure what else to say except that it stuck well, cut well, and left consistently sharper edges than my stones and strop ever did. br>They also last a long time, especially as you progress to finer grits, as long as you don't accidentally slice one. br>I wish it were a more permanent solution (like stones) where you only have to buy once, but these sheets come in such a wide range of grits that even as I add more stones to my collection, there will still be some finer levels that I can get for less money with these sheets.
My chisels and plane irons have a nice polish to them when they're finished. I'm not thrilled with the increase from 1,800 to 8,000, but I have a 5,000 gray PSA sheet on hand to make up for it. I used PSA on a 12 x 12 x 1 piece of flat cardboard. All of my chisels and plane irons are lapping on 5 pieces of granite. I use a 10,000 grit water stone to smooth out all the edges. The PSA on granite is one of my favorites because it stays flat, unlike my water stone, which dishes quickly. Yes, I use a lapping plate to flatten my water stone on a regular basis. Lapping, on the other hand, is tedious, and the PSA on granite simply renders it flat-proof.

I'm getting the same fine edge with this product as I would with sharpening stones, based on my experience so far. All of the grits are on one surface when I use the PSA Sheets on a large piece of safety glass.
I bought these to use in my worksharp knife sharpener, so I cut them into strips. Needless to say, they look great and provide a great edge!.
This is fantastic. When you know how to use it correctly, it's very simple. On the chisels, planer blades, and knives I sharpened, they produce an absolutely stunning edge.
It's very simple to stick to a piece of float glass without bubbles if you follow the instructions for washing and wetting the glass first. br>I had some old chisels that were in pretty rough shape that are now razor sharp. These sheets, when used in conjunction with a honing guide, made light work of each chisel.
