The instructions state to use it on ferrous metal but will it work at all on stainless steel? The edge of an item I need rounded off has a sharp point. ?

There is a black, rasp-like texture to it. A grinder of the same brand is available on this site that does a much better job of grinding aluminum cast. That product is durable enough to last a lifetime if you just do that. But, it A product such as this can help in such a situation.

Only 10 minutes were left in the drill bit before it was The problem here is that it is not right. While using the wheel, you will notice that the top layer comes off. A new drill bit was sent to me and I called Dewalt to let them know how it performed. As you shaved it off, it should not have been that way.

It's a choking hazard, but there are so many uses for this tool that costs less than 3 dollars! It's hard to predict when you will need to rough sharpen a blade or file down a nail, but this simple grinding bit will do it all almost every time

The edges are very sharp and parallel, so you can use a regular drill or an impact driver with a hex shank to use. You can't go wrong with these. They grind, smooth, scour, and roughen surfaces. The label on Amazon says that this product is a choking hazard, as if the obviousness of the danger wasn't.

Originally I purchased this to attach to my drill to grind wood, but it wasn't The drill bit is solid and well built, but if I have to fault the company I should say that it's more suited for other purposes. Choosing a different bit would be a good idea if you are like me and need something to grind wood. Due to the low price, I decided to keep it in case I had a future need for it.
