I'm cleaning Popular logs in a log cabin, and it does an excellent job of removing the layer of oxidized wood quickly and without clogging the tool. Because the teeth are quickly wearing down, it does not receive a five-star rating. I've sanded with it for 5 hours, and the teeth will be ground down to the point where it's useless in another 5 hours. Wearing out a tool this quickly is expensive. To complete this project, I'd need to purchase two more of these tools, which is more than I'm willing to spend on sanding equipment. It's a great concept, but it won't last long.

  This is my third Holey Galahad disc (I also have the extreme and the corse), and while it performs admirably, it clogs frequently. It's great that I can fix these clogs with the help of my blowtorch, but I wish I didn't have to do it so frequently. It does, however, assist in the production of some incredible results.

Right out of the box, there were teeth that were knocked off or were sideways and then painted over, which was disappointing given the unit's price, but I don't believe it had a significant impact on overall functionality. Because this isn't a finely honed plane iron, a few nicks here and there aren't disastrous. So far, I've only used it once, to shape a black walnut chair seat. It removed material quickly, and despite its inherent barbaric nature, I was able to maintain a good level of control. I think the whole proprietary luck nut thing is ridiculous and needs to be resolved. Instead of making people look for the nut, it should be included with the unit or made available as an add-on in the checkout options.

This is an excellent tool. I'm going to use it to "dish out" four wooden dining chair seats. Hickory seats will be in two of the chairs, while walnut seats will be in the other two. The tool had a lot of wood embedded in it after finishing the two hickory seats. I used oven cleaner to clean it in accordance with the instructions. The embedded wood had vanished after about 15 minutes. The green paint was the same way. I figured there was no harm done, so I didn't say anything. When I went out the next morning to reinstall it on my grinder, I noticed it had begun to rust. In light of the tool's price, I'm not overjoyed. I guess I'll be storing it with a layer of oil on it.

King Arthur's Toolkit is a unique collection of tools created by King Arthur himself. Patented Round Fine Green Holey Galahad Tungsten Carbide Disc,br>BUT the first time I turned it on, I was taken aback by the noticeable vibration! I tested it at every speed from 1 to 4, and it was only at 3- that it became obvious. 4 that you'll be able to use this disk in some way. It is severely deformed, with a rotational deviation of about 1 mm, making it unfit for use! The disc is simply bouncing off the tree's surface! Is the plant's quality control really non-existent - After all, a deformation of this magnitude is unmistakable! After a few minutes of work, this is how the disk looks! The skew is so obvious that it's hard not to notice it. I have no idea how to use a disc like that. I have discs from a competitor's company that are far superior in quality! I did not expect the product to be of such poor quality, and I cannot recommend it to other woodworkers.

Shapes wood like no other tool you've ever seen! (If you've never used a tool like this before) It moves material at a breakneck speed, and the holes allow you to see what you're doing in real time. I've used a similar product before that didn't have the holes and it worked perfectly. But I was overjoyed when I got this one and could see what I was doing as I was doing it. These tools can be extremely dangerous, but being able to see your work reduces the risk of an accident even more. This is the tool for you if you need to move wood quickly and precisely. It will require some finishing work, but the time saved will more than compensate for the work that remains after using this Holey Galahad! br>br>To summarize, this is a fantastic tool for the money. It did exactly what it said it would do. The amount of tooth wear has been minimal, so I expect it to last a long time; if this one ever wears out, I'll definitely buy another. Unfortunately for the creator, I doubt it will ever happen! Great product, reasonable price, and on-time delivery (7-day). 10 days.

This cutter performs admirably and is extremely long-lasting. I was concerned because some reviewers mentioned broken teeth, but after extensive use on hardwoods such as white oak, black walnut, hard maple, and beech, I am unable to confirm this. All of my cutter's teeth are still present. It does a great job of removing material quickly, but you should let it do its thing rather than forcing it into the wood. The cutter will last much longer as a result of this, and you won't have to worry about kickbacks.
