Sadly, the 4-pack of My Ryobi angle grinder's safety guard prevents the 1/2-inch one from fitting. I'm not going to risk my life by grinding without the safety guard.
For the task at hand, it performed as expected. Fit perfectly with my old grinder, whose name is so faded that I can't read it anymore. With these, I also purchased a dust shield to keep the concrete dust at bay; no more messes!.
On concrete flooring, it worked perfectly.
Purchased for the purpose of grinding a high spot prior to tiling. This is fantastic! chewed through the concrete as if it weren't there. It had a nice smooth finish to it. A dust shroud and a long hose to connect to the shop vac were also purchased. Almost no dust was produced as a result of this method.
These were purchased to cover a hole in my cinder block wall that I had made. Using a 4 1/2" angle grinder, the job was completed quickly. There was dust all over the place, but it was a quick and satisfying job.
The previous owner of my home had painted the two-story house. Floor of a garage. I used these to grind it down to clean concrete, and I didn't even use one by the time I finished. I'm very pleased with the purchase, especially since a single cup costs three times as much in a local store.
Patrick D, thank you very much.
This product cut 5 square feet of tile adhesive-coated concrete, then stopped. I went out and bought a Dewalt for $59, finished the rest of the bathroom, and it's still going strong.
