This was the party of the year! It wasn't protected from being bent by shipping material because it was likely put over a box during transit, which caused it to have an intentional/warped shape and not be It may have been better to have reinforced the cardboard with a more rigid back.
Printing on this kind of plastic was nice because it was durable. Read through the differences between 1970 and today with the family and they enjoyed it. These speakers helped to set the mood for the party, as they were clear and engaging. I would use it for a 50th birthday party too because it is broad enough.
While these were cool, we didn't use them because they don't have a back stand so they are hard to stand on. If you want to mount them, you have to either tape them to the wall or buy large frames (at $25 a pop because they're large). I found the information to be interesting, but it wasn't very useful.
It is nice that the sign has, "Back in my day," even though it is geared more towards the 80s, I would say. They already include "back in 1971" as part of the package, so they should do something different for a 50th anniversary gift. That one will remain off the table for now. In spite of this, the other 2 signs are great. If there are any other future events, I will order similar signs.
My mom received a surprise 60th birthday party coming on the heels of her retirement and her 40th wedding anniversary. There was a lot of interest in these signs because of the fun information they included. This is such a cute and easily readable comic. Exactly what the occasion called for.
I really like it, and I think the price is reasonable. The easels will be a gift for my Father who turns 50 today. I purchased three black frames from Walmart and placed them into each frame. A second picture will be posted when they are hung.
