My dad has Alzheimer's. The gift we chose for him is something he would 'like' since he has no needs. assumed this would be the perfect scenario. There is still something that he remembers in the long run. Having it framed and matted was a good idea. It was a hit with him. During the 15 minutes we spent talking, we covered all the details. Seeing it reminded him of some old times. The one about which he had a long story was a good one. Hearing him talk to us about his memories was a great experience for all of us.
