Sometimes I can find this cheaper elsewhere, but I've been using it lately and I'm so glad I did. Perhaps after a while, I will switch to the electric unit, but for now, I am sticking with the gas one. I find that the smell is nice, though its duration does not last as long as I would like. Also, if you place it in front of a fan, it is a bit irritating for my throat even though it makes the product Anyhow, I have been using DampRid for a few months now and think the house looks a lot different now. A distinct smell, um, lingered in the apartment when I first moved in. To be honest, I wasn't completely happy with the freshness of the place. I had a house smell I didn't like because it was too humid. This has really helped and now I keep a container or two in nearly ever room in the house. Due to the high humidity here, I have to wear a lot of clothes. While I live here, I plan on buying this pretty much indefinitely. Although it was useful when I had an apartment, I did not consider it as 'needed' as it is in this home.
had hoped that there would be a little more than what there is, but it did in fact refill four of my smaller In this case, it cost me a little less to buy the refill than to buy 4 new buckets, assuming they were each $5 each. I'm not sure how well they absorb water, but I can tell you that they are almost as efficient as some sponges.
I am impressed at how well Damp RId works. There is no resemblance to vanilla or lavender in this scent. There is a strong sachet scent to it. As soon as I opened the package, its fragrance was overwhelming, however after it was put in its container behind closed doors, its scent was not as strong, and I only smelled it when I was getting something from The Damp RId product is a great product that helps to reduce dampness. Furthermore, I think it would be better to get the pre-measured packets, which would cost a little more but would fill the receptacles to the perfect level.
It was not observable that lavender possessed a scent. In the event that you spill some of the product, it can be very difficult to clean up.
Thanks for the relief. cannot smell it as you can with Hopefully, I will be able to purchase containers next time. My thanks go to what I received for my money.
The DampRid in my basement has served me well for years. A scented version of this product sounded appealing to me, but I was wary. Featuring a mild lavender vanilla scent, this soap is very pleasant to use.
It's been years since I last used DampRid, and it works great to remove moisture from the air in small spaces. In any case, I will not buy the scented versions again due to their unpleasant smell. For the first time, I ordered them from Amazon and was disappointed to find some residue left behind on the inside of the refill bag, indicating one bag might have split and ended up on nearby ones. A problem with DampRid is that it attracts moisture wherever it lands if it spills. When this occurs, it can cause serious damage. The product must be handled carefully since if it spills, it will attract moisture.
My daughters, son in laws, and grandsons always want the house to be clean and smelling good when they arrive*. With all the rain we had last year (and again this year), I noticed a bit of a musty odor. It smells amazing in my house because all my other products are so great! This is a genuinely good product that anyone should try The elderly, in particular, should be aware of this. I highly recommend trying this product! It is amazing!.
