On the Hover, there are two tanks: clean water and dirty water. The clean water tank's handle is smaller than the dirty water tank's handle. It's possible to get the smaller clean water handle. The only way to get the dirty water handle I've found is to buy the entire tank, which is prohibitively expensive.br> Since we already had an old Hover, we simply used the old handle on the new one.
It appears to fit the bill. I had to get a new handle as well. The one I purchased was identical to the original.

When the tank came off, the old handle snapped. This one was ordered and it is a perfect fit for my model F7412900. The tank is even held in place by the device. That (locking) feature on my previous one was disabled.
900 I took a chance and bought it because I wasn't sure if it would fit. It's identical to the original and works perfectly with my Hoover Steam Vac F7425- There aren't many alternatives to this product made in China. The original OEM part, which appeared to be unavailable as a direct replacement, had the same structural design. Hopefully, it will not be short-lived.
