We may or may not have the same portavac? Throughout the years, I have replaced that hose on my Hoover porta vacuum several times, but I think my porta vac has a number followed by a CH. Because of this, I am hesitant to give a positive answer until I know for sure they are the same. There is however only one Hoover that I am aware of. The 1049-ABC does not make sense to me In amazon, the vacuum I use is 060, but when I keyed in those numbers In that case, I'm thinking the same thing. I just received the second hose today and I am unable to connect it to the first one. Could you please help me with this?
There is probably no such information on the Amazon Team page as it is not in the product description. I own one of these vacuum hoses and it can extend to about 6 feet before retracting.

I'm not sure if it will or not. There is a possibility that it was a fluke that the hose broke. In any case, I will rate it as 5 stars as long as the replacement hose does not break or does not last a long time. Should it break in any of the ways mentioned below, I will re-rate it and edit its However, for the time being this hose is rated 5 stars out of 5 stars. A review on a vacuum cleaner hose seems strange to me. There's nothing good about it. This is a lot more than I could do with the old hose I was replacing. The hose is the same one that came with my portable vacuum cleaner by Hoover. As my old hose broke, I needed to replace it, so I was thrilled to discover that it could be replaced in that way. As I said before, it's strange to write a review for a new hose since it's almost the same as writing one for the old hose that came with the machine. Getting a replacement hose was due to the fact that the old one was broken. In a way that is good information to have.
The original hose cracked around the connection point on the hose. was unaware that the crack caused the suction to be reduced until it started sucking. Once I confirmed there was no blockage, I saw that the suction was reduced. Additionally, it was not a place where duct tape could be easily applied. I don't know. Unfortunately, it also had another fault that forced me to throw it away and replace it. In this case, the locking ring from the original hose cracked apart one day and was no longer holding the hose in place. It was annoying, but we managed to deal with it for a short time. As soon as we encountered a crack in the hose, we lost suction, which made things worse. So that's it. I believe it would be worthwhile to mention those breaks since it was the original hose that came with the machine, and this is also manufactured by Hoover and looks like the exact same hose, so I will mention them in case they happen with this one as well. The rest of it works as advertised. There have been no problems with the new one so far. As soon as I hooked this up, I realized I must have had a broken hose for some time before I realized it.
I love it. The suction I got from this machine after hooking it up was fantastic.
So I bought a Hoover portable vacuum so I can clean people's homes. Hoover is usually the place I order replacement parts from, however some of the parts are often on backorder for months at a time. Personally, I do not have the patience to My first stop on Amazon was this hose, as I do all the time for tons of things. I was very happy to find it. I got this new hose instead of the original black one because it has a dark gray color. I love how well it fits and works. It is wonderful to have this opportunity.
The hose does stretch of course, but one must constantly overcome the force it exerts in a state of constant The constant stretching causes fatigue given you constantly have to stretch the arm to reach the area of work. In addition I have it stretched all the way out when I am not using it, so I can keep it still while not being used and avoid having to wrestle In comparison to my original one I purchased close to 20 years ago, this one is not built like it was.
I am disappointed. There is a lot of stiffness in the shoe. The hose will lengthen and then shrink when you pull hard on it, but it doesn't stretch nearly as much as the original hose did. Normally, it wants to revert to its shortened length, making it impossible to reach the areas that need to be vacuumed from its short length. It appears that Hoover no longer manufactures a replacement for the original connector lock as it did previously.
The original hose on my brother was damaged. I purchased this for him. I kept falling out of the vaccine. The replacement was ordered as soon as I learned of his injury. Those who use the vacuum for flooring installation use it for their business.
My hose became detached at the connection to the plastic piece after it broke. Since this hose is less stiff than the original, it seems to expand on its own more (probably how it is supposed to work) which makes it easier to not get pulled behind by the vacuum cleaner as much.
The vacuum cleaner does not fit this part.
