Questions & Answers

There is a little rectangle on one side of the body causing it to create so much air that it won't work. How can this be?

For the past five years we have had this vacuum. When it appears that it is losing suction, you will need to take the following steps You should clean and/or replace the two triangular foam pieces and cloth liners Under the cannister, there are filters You should also blow out or replace the HEPA filter on the exterior of the unit (the HEPA filter is designed to keep fine particles from being blown back into the room), and wash the canister box, paying special attention to the mesh cone inside (you can only view it from the bottom). It is best to use a toothbrush with soapy water to remove greasy particles that can clog the filters. Depending on how often it is used, I think this procedure may need to be repeated fairly frequently to bring back performance. You may find that your cone blocks up pretty quickly if you have pets like dogs, cats, or birds that have oily fur and feathers.

How do the Shark NV 352 and NV 356 differ from each other?

Hard floor tools have different cords, the 352 has a 25 foot cord, the 356 has a 30 foot cord, and the 352 has a 25 foot cord. There is a microfiber dust pad that sits over the hardwood floor attachment on the 356. Despite the 352's lack of a pad, the hard floor attachment is shaped like a V to funnel debris, but it does come with a duster attachment, both of which can be purchased Dust is collected in a larger cup on the 356 and the overall machine weighs 2 pound more than A bigger difference between the 352 and the 356, however, is that the 352 does not come with a tool bag. It appears that all the other tools in both models are similar. While they both run on the same amps and can be transformed into the canister mode, the aesthetics are

What happens if we drop a paper clip on it?

I don't pick up the paper clips, you do. It is not possible to vacuum up paper clips with vacuum cleaners.

FLOP! An engineering design fail! I admit it, I had a lot of things to learn from the reviews, but I neglected to read enough
3/5

1 - Engineering FLOPs are top heavy when it comes to vacuums. This would be easy to tip over if the cat were around. This is seriously 2 * B A breakage is just a matter of time for the plastic elbow that sticks out 3" on the back side. This is also the weakest direction in terms of stability and balance. Here's another engineering flop. The three-digit code Its intake head is so narrow that it would also interfere if you had a couch or coffee table. With a bump out or overhang, the middle part of the body hits the furniture and the intake does not get close to it. On the top, it looks like the intake head is wider than the body, but if you turn the roller upside down and view it closely, you'll see that it is actually A FLOP of 25 inches on each side. Item #4 - There is less air intake head than a regular vacuum at least 2 inches smaller. Its total width is 9 1/8", so if you have a midsize or larger work zone, you could save at least 20% of your time, which is pretty enormous since a standard vacuum cleaner is at least 20% narrower. A flop is actually inefficient rather than a failure. Item 5 - It does not appear that all of the tools are attached. I am sure we can all guess what happens to those couple of small items in around For those who do I can imagine they won't stay there once pulled on and off several times and then put back on again. I've heard a lot of people claim this thing has awesome suction, and the holding tank has a ton of stuff in it that the old vacuum did not pick up,,, well, I expect a good deal of that is because there are sharp edges Shaving your carpet or rug would be that. That's an easy one to figure Hopefully will be able to see it in 6 months. There is only one positive I have noticed so far, which is the price. You can buy 3 of these for the price of some of the fancy Names, but will the hassle and downtime of when they break be worth it? Please forgive me, but I am not going to call any engineer or CEO or board member proud of this vacuum. The review will be updated as time moves forward after I have given it a fair shot.

The review isn't bad, but steer clear of all the five My review of this vacuum is the result of sauntering to Amazon shortly after purchasing it
3/5

It was not possible for me to submit my review because Amazon had the reviews for this product locked down for suspicious conduct. I probably would not have bought the vacuum if I had known that before I bought it. If Amazon locks down reviews for a specific product due to suspicious activity, I think customers should be notified. The cons are Please be patient. The cord is about 15' too short to reach the top of the stairs in my apartment (1,236 square feet). This would be difficult since the apartment is over 400 square feet, and we have to plug it into three different outlets to reach all the rooms. Please be patient. It's strange to have the power button so far away from the cable. - There should be an easier method of separating the canisters. There is an entry point for the power cord at the bottom of the vacuum. As long as you don't loop the cord over the cord wrap arm, you will constantly step on the cord. Please be patient. It's great to have good suction*- We could not be more pleased with the edge to edge cleaning* - Low weight - It's so easy to move - It's great to be able to attach files
A Dyson DC07 has been in my possession since about 2003 at the right price. That vacuum cleaner works better than great when the filters are replaced regularly. Since we are temporarily moving, and we do not want to take the Dyson with us, I decided to buy a Shark based on reviews. Based on my experience, I would say the suction is about 75 percent as powerful as that of a Dyson. Dyson's ergonomic design is superior to the Shark's, and this is what the Shark is missing. I recommend you buy this vacuum cleaner if you're on a budget, but if you're on a larger budget, opt for.

There is no truth in the Shark products or company
3/5

My shark Navigator vacuum is now in my possession. The letter was received on November 1. Within 30 minutes, 30 people had assembled it. We were not able to use it. Upon getting in touch with the manufacturer and after their troubleshooting showed that the motor was defective, they told me I had to buy an entirely new motor for A brand new motor was not covered by the warranty, despite it being a brand new product. This is clearly a fraud organization, and buyers should keep their distance!.

We are disappointed with this product
3/5

We bought it less than a week ago. A bit bummed about this product. We bought it less than a year ago but the suction no longer works. The company wants me to pay $20 in shipping to send it back when I try to return it or get a replacement. If the warranty is 5 years with no loss of suction, I'd expect more from it.

Vacuum is powerful and maneuverable, but that power cord is a hassle
5/5

I am very pleased with this shark vacuum! It is very powerful, compact, and maneuverable! There is no other vacuum cleaner I've ever used that pulls as much crud from my carpets. With the rotating beater bar, the unit is able to pull through even dense carpets This feels very similar to how a self-contained self-contained unit feels A mower driven by the engine. I think it's a fantastic value, but it does have a couple A power cord is required It should be given a swift kick in the groin to whoever decided the power cord should be terminated at the bottom of the unit- It's every day! My feet inevitably catch the power cord and I have to pick it up off my feet or try to wrangle it away from me. There needs to be more effort put into managing the cord around the device it is a constant trip hazard. I'm convinced he hasn't spent more than 5 minutes using it. Also, the cord needs to be six feet long instead of three. Most homes built before the 1960s are 9' longer than today's average You know, those that were there before Created the compact disc on this day Compared to newer, more tech-forward houses, older houses aren't peppered with power outlets quite so liberally The homes of the aware. The vacuum hose should be placed at the end of the vacuum tube. This is a small gripe, but that vacuum hose could sure stand to be an extra 12" long or a bit longer.
