First one did not work, then the second one did! When I came across this, I was excited to buy it for my son

In fact, my 18 mo old has a Dyson vacuum that looks almost identical to this, and he is always trying to “help” me clean with the real thing, so when I saw this, I figured he would like it too. My 18mo old can play with it because it really does look like my vacuum, and it's small enough to be used as a toy. When he has the vacuum, he will pretend to sweep behind me as he pushes it around. I don't understand what the reason is for it to work or not work. The dang thing works when I feel like it I've replaced the batteries, ensured they are in all the way, installed exactly right, brand new, everything, and it still works when I feel Although the noise is cool and adorable, one of my son's major meltdowns occurs when it does not work. and so I'm torn between being frustrated it does not work all the time and being frustrated about putting batteries into it at all. I have to wait until more come in so I can replace it since I am out of the item. In addition to that, I am not happy with the fact that this toy arrived in a box that was taped shut second hand and had a shipping label cut off. I can guess that someone else attempted to use this item but it did not work and they returned it. Ideally, if you receive an item and it doesn't work, you should return it as DAMAGED/DEFECTIVE so that other people don't end up with the same broken garbage you didn't Thanks a lot! So far, it has worked without any issues! The new one came in an unopened box. Our system has been running for nearly a week now with no sound failures to date. As a result of the fact that the first one I bought did not work, I have added a star to my review.

Having a little toddler is such a treat! Despite its size, it's light enough that he can hold and pick it up at 16 months of age

In this case, there is no suction. I have thrown ours around a lot in just a couple weeks and so far it has held up and has fully functioned as expected. The book is well worth the money.

I wore it for a week and a half before it broke

Please note As a toy, it is meant to be played with. I don't think there is a vacuum here. The device does claim being able to suction, but it's not designed for cleaning, so don't expect it to be able to do so. There are little balls inside that stir around, which makes it look like it's sucking in debris, which is fun, but not actually useful. I am sure the kids will love it because it is so similar to mama's real Dyson vacuum. The problem is. The following are the reasons why I only gave it a In just a week and a half, my girls gently played with it and the motor fell apart. As I said before, they only used it a couple of times, so at this point I would certainly not recommend it. Unfortunately, I missed the return window, so I'm not sure what the customer service was like, but this was a much less satisfactory outcome than what.

It's a pathetic gift! It wasn't the batteries, so I thought maybe it was a problem with them. If I would like a refund or a replacement, what do I do?.

There is a regular Dyson V8 at home, as well as a toddler who enjoys helping

There's no kid version of the grown up one since the weight is too much for 1 year olds. Therefore, this is perfect. You can use it to vacuum up dust, but don't expect it to do much else. We can vacuum together while she follows or leads the way. These are both adorable as well as the same color. My only complaint is that I wish this vacuum really vacuumed, and that it had a wall hook or something so that it could be hung or something like in.

A piece of trash

My son's birthday was two months ago, so I got him this. What I would give to have had that opportunity! There is nothing that can be done about the damaged battery cover that came off two days ago, so the only solution is to duck tape it back on, which will make the process of installing new batteries more difficult. Avoid the hassle of a faulty vacuum and try a different one. I also just bought the item for $10 more than it was a few days ago. About $30 was what I paid There is no way the device is worth that much. It is also certainly not worth the $40 it is currently being sold for.

A sturdy design

I didn't care much for the suction power, but it is a kids toy, so it's not really an issue. However, I wish there had been an on/off switch instead of just a button one needs to hold down in order to turn it It might be interesting to him when he grows up.
