Questions & Answers

Are you able to use this on Pergo? Could it also be used in its current state? The square footage of the bottle is how many square feet?

The Pergo system has worked well for us. Don't worry about it taking up much of your time. It covers a lot of space, but I'm not sure how many square feet it covers.

What should I do to get rid of the ugly film I've The only way to get things done is to get on your hands and knees. ?

You seem to be using it at full capacity. Not all the lid cup goes into the cup. I add 1/4 to 1/2 of it. Once you fill the tank with distilled water, you can use it. The wood floor in my home is medium light in color. In addition to not seeing films, I am particular about what I watch. In the event of a dark floor, it would show more, so I'd recommend using distilled water to remove the film. Thanks for reading, I hope it was helpful.

Are sealed tile and grout ok to use with this product?

As far as I can tell, the instructions for this mop indicate It would be appreciated if you checked In addition, it is nothing but No matter what water I used, I would cause no more damage. One difference is that there is a scent attached to it.

Is it possible to use demineralized water to dilute essential oils?

It would probably not be a good idea for me to use oil in the water, since I'm not sure what it would Perhaps adding some to the steamer pad would be a good idea?

I love this scent, but it takes a little while to wear off
3/5

love the scent of spring breeze, it is easy to use and it makes my house smell great, so that is really the only pro I would point out. Although this works, there are a number of cons associated with it. 1
There is no way that one bottle will last long. Two additional points After a short period of time, the scent is gone.
3. I find after I clean my floors that when the light shines on them, there are still water marks on them. Truth be told, I would prefer to buy the scent discs that can be placed inside the steam pads, instead of the steam pads themselves. My only wish is that the scent would last longer and there would be.

This is a rip-off
3/5

I find it annoying how the price fluctuates from $7 to more than twice the price for one It takes about 30 minutes for me to steam mop. One bottle covers 1200 square feet three times and I get three uses out of it. If you buy one bottle for $7 that's okay, but for one bottle to last you for 3 uses for $15 A few drops of essential oil mixed with distilled water will do just as well.

My opinion is that it is not a good value
3/5

The first thing I must point out is that this product smells very pleasant, and when used on steam mopping, it adds a subtly fresh scent to the room. The benefit I like is that I really like my steam mop, but I miss the fresh smell I got when I was still using a bucket and mopping solution. However, since water is the subject, the point is this . . . Water is NOT the issue here. It is not a cleaning solution in any way. Water that has been "demineralized" is used to make it Purified water is essentially what you drink. According to science, from the standpoint of the finished product, this is not quite different from In both products, they have had heavy particulates (minerals) removed by a different method. I bought an $800 bottle of nice-smelling water with preservatives to prevent bacteria from developing in it. My buying habits have changed since I stopped buying this product because I consider it to be merely a gimmick. To date, the machine still works great and going with the "make your own" approach has never been a problem for me. Approximately $1 a gallon is the total price per gallon. To buy a gallon of Bissell's product, you would need to spend about 32 dollars.

It is better to use scent discs
3/5

There's nothing to worry about. There is a very light odor and it does not last very Using one bottle and one can, I only made it through two rooms There is only one bedroom in my These scent discs are superior to the usual ones. This is the first time I have smelled this scent, and they are stronger. Discs and sticks last much longer in terms of scent There is no limit to how many times you can use each disc. One scent disc is all I need to get my small two bedroom, two bath apartment completely clean. Whenever I need it in the future, if it has a decent surface condition, I will save it and reuse it. It has a stronger fragrance than the scented water, which I also reuse. In my opinion, scent discs are better than water like this one. This would be the choice I would make again since it is much cheaper than DVDs.

It has a light scent, which quickly dissipates
5/5

Mopping these rooms produces a scent that lasts only a short time even when these demineralized waters are being used. fine with me. When you use demineralized water for your Bissell steam floor cleaner, it will last longer. It should be obvious to me. I have now used a Bissell steamer three times. The thing I don't get is that the water's price varies from scent to scent, which means it might cost you a couple of dollars for a similar amount! Exactly what is going on there? It is not uncommon for certain scents to not be Is there a reason these demineralized waters are not offered in larger quantities? A bottle of each can only be used for two or two and a half times each. The price seems a bit high when you look at it that way, I suppose? I suppose we could buy a gallon of distilled water, but let's face it it's much easier and, shall I say, pleasant to pour half of a bottle into our steamer's container and start up! A professional cleaner is now in charge of keeping the house clean. It is much more sanitary for her to clean the tile on our sun porch and kitchen floor this way. Streaks are not visible. The scent is pleasant and sanitized but it goes away fast but at least while used it is pleasant!.

The water is disgusting! I did not find this to be worth the price
3/5

The smell it gives off is not pleasant Neither the smell nor the taste were present. After cleaning, there was no scent in the air after the bottle was opened.

The amount of the product used in one use is too high
3/5

It smells wonderful and I can smell it after steam mopping for a little while. You use a lot of water if you mop your whole house, so it's not worth the cost. Therefore, I am not likely to purchase this product The good smelling air following a mop will no longer be an option. Despite the fact that that is one of the best parts about mops.

It works really great
5/5

I have a steam mop and haven't been able to find a good cleaning solution to work with On Amazon I found the device and it is priced the same as it is in the physical store, so I do not have to waste my time or gas driving around looking for.
