We bought two replacement rug attachments for a whole house vacuum system. However, both attachments failed to function when we used them the first time. There is no turning of the roller. I have had the original attachment for over 20 years and it still works perfectly. I suspect either inferior materials or poor workmanship were used in the manufacture of the replacement part. The product was very disappointing for the price. I will seek a local repair shop for the.
I recently replaced my old turbo at the head which had been in service for five years. There is no comparison between the old model and this new one. I can't even begin to describe how incredible this thing is!.
As far as suction power goes, It seems to work okay. I find that I have to go over the same areas a few times to pick up debris, but it still does an adequate job.
Having just gotten a new vacuum head, we are quite excited about it. Our old one had just worn out. Fluff the carpet up well with the brush and the suction picks up debris much better than the old vacuum.

The original powerhead on the house's central vac was broken at the age of nine and had to be replaced. The basic design of the housing is the same, but the powerhead itself is slightly different. The original is just as good.
