The next day, they contacted me again. It was explained to me that their vacuums continue to be made for "big names" for over 40 years and that they just launched their own The word ovo. The vacuum cleaner in this picture is extremely powerful. It's a "do it yourself" kind of person for me The Central Vacuum Unit at our house finally gave out after 45 years and I was sure I could replace it I was looking for new accessories but did not need beater heads, so this unit made sense at a great price. On their website as well, there were none. As opposed to the old unit, which had its inlet on the side of the canister and the exhaust on top, our new one has inlet on the bottom. My assumption was that all central vacuums have a similar format, so I proceeded to connect it. An incorrect assumption has been made. A blow instead of a sucking noise was heard. When I compare the machine to the other two central vacuums I have used in my lifetime, it is extremely quiet. This is particularly true with a muffler installed and the unit being vented I find the suction to be much stronger than any portable vacuum I've ever used, and the soft-touch surfaces are a welcomed addition I recommend installing a vacuum relief valve near the power unit to give the engine a better start. If you let the gates slap back from the pressure, it's not likely that they will last very long. Make sure you remove the hose from the wall inlet carefully. Sadly, this item was missing the mounting bracket when I bought it used from Amazon. The bracket was shipped to me within hours of my call to OVO. My unit was super easy to install using the bracket, and I have been satisfied with its performance so far. Since this is my first central vacuum, I installed it myself and did not require a professional to do so.
