VECTRA 22 Fabric, Upholstery, Rug, Carpet Protector - 1 gallon/128 oz

I wasn't in a good mood when I wrote this. But I've completely changed my mind! br>br>(at the time of purchase), I anticipated it to be similar to Scotch Guard or other competitors. I bought a gallon and am not going to waste my time with it. Because the item was returned and is flammable, Amazon will not issue a refund. I purchased a spray bottle and filled it with a gallon of water, only to discover that it does not work on white carpet, and I am now out nearly $ 120 between the two. Instead, I'm going to order DuPont advanced Teflon. br>br>Because they wouldn't return it, I figured I'd give it a shot and use it! Because it didn't repel as well as I'd hoped. I assumed I wouldn't need vectors, but boy, was I wrong! It actually worked to keep the liquid from penetrating the fibers, allowing it to soak in but not stain them. All of my light beige curtains were treated with it. (75% of my living room is door wall/ curtain ) I could wipe dirt and stain marks off with a wet cloth after using it. Any previous marks would simply smudge and leave a visible dark spot. When the curtains are treated with Vectra, they will wipe clean and look brand new! The use of Vectra also helped to prevent dust from adhering to the curtains. After a year, the untreated curtains were filthy with marks and dust, whereas the Vectra-treated curtains looked as if they had just been washed. I reduced the number of times I washed curtains from once a year to twice a year. I make sure the fabric is still damp when I wash it (this is crucial!). ) and re- spray. I've been using a spray bottle and gallon refill for about five years now. I also use it on rugs (after first moistening the rug) and clean/repeat every year because we have a lot of foot traffic. Vectra, in my opinion, quadruples the amount of time between cleanings! I've been unable to locate the spray bottle on several occasions (my home was under construction at the time, and it took months to locate!). ) and would rather clean it later rather than waste time washing it without using Vectra. My viewpoint has completely shifted as a result of the passage of time. Vectra is one of my favorite characters in the series. It is well worth the money spent because it saves time.

It's pricey, but it's worth it. We had used up the other half gallon, so I ordered a new one. This is far superior to ScotchGuard.

Vectra'ed has been a part of my life since 1984, both as a consumer and as a seller. It is, without a doubt, the most effective product I have ever used. As someone who works in the high-end upholstery and design industry and works with extremely expensive fabrics, I've made it a point to thoroughly test every fabric, including silk (only hand-painted or ethnic fabrics have ever bled). Vectra has never caused me any problems. The best application is by a professional, but anyone who takes their time and coats it evenly can do it.

This is the size that I purchased. Vectra's aerosol spray bottle I had a lot of things I needed. It was used to cover outdoor patio cushions that were covered with a tarp. Cushions for the poolside. It could've been the sun, the weather, or something else entirely. I can't say it repels stains or anything like that. However, I believe that in order to do this properly, you should only do it once a year. It was recommended to me, but I wanted to check it out first.
