Questions & Answers

Is it possible to use baking soda instead of powder in this product?

Technically, you could, but I'm not sure how the mist's ingredients will react with the baking soda's physical properties, and I'm pretty sure you won't get the same amazing results on tough stains as we did. The combination of powder and mist is truly incredible. It removes even the toughest stains, making it appear as if they never existed!

Is it possible to use hydrogen peroxide as a pre-mist?

In the same way that hydrogen peroxide bleaches human hair, it can also bleach carpet fibers. It could take up to a day for the effect to appear. It's too late at that point to change the situation. Peroxide, like bleach, is something I try to avoid. I hope this has been of assistance.

What is the amount of pre-mist spray that you use?

Drar customerbr>Use a sufficient amount of pre- spritz the stain with water to loosen it up. As a result, it will differ depending on the stain you're trying to get rid of. If the area is sticky or thick from something like ketchup, use more than you would for a simple spill stain. I hope you found this information to be beneficial. Customer service is available.br>

I haven't found a stain that the Capture Pre-treatment doesn't completely remove
5/5

Powder, mist, and I've made use of the pre-made templates. On a cream-colored carpet, mist and powder have been used for over 25 years. I have three dogs and a husband who spends his days walking on asphalt. I've never had a bad experience with Capture! br>I've had several carpet cleaning companies try to remove the pet stains and asphalt shoe prints using various techniques, all with the same result: the same stains reappeared within two weeks! Capture won't let you down! br>A little goes a long way, but if your stain is particularly stubborn, try the following: After treating as directed by the manufacturer, cover the treated area with a plastic bag- from the grocery store's produce section or a dry cleaner's. A bath towel should be used to cover this. Allow to sit for at least 24 hours. Remove the plastic and towel and allow the treated area to dry naturally before vacuuming it. Even beet juice and coffee - they're both good for you. both are used to dye fabric - have been released - TOTALLY!.

This was relatively easy to use, but it required some effort
4/5

There is a scent (lemony, pleasant and non-irritating). chemically), but it doesn't appear to have any artificial fragrance and has never caused any allergic reactions in me. It's a very fine powder that's almost damp. It does not become airborne when used carefully and as directed, though when emptying my (non-aerosol) can, it does. When I vacuumed the bag, it dispersed a little. It did clog my vacuum filters a little, but they're all rinseable. It wasn't a problem because I was able to do it. Overall, it's far from foolproof. or a pain in the neck It's not foolproof, but it's a lot less expensive than hiring a professional. Was your plan successful? Well. Yes, to begin with. However, after a few weeks, the odor has returned. My dog, who had been dying of cancer for a few months and was drooling bloody drool (and possibly urine) on the carpet, was the problem I was trying to solve. When summer arrived and I shut the windows, the stench was unbearable, but this helped. It went away for a while, then reappeared with much less vigor. I haven't re-read any of my books in a long time. yet to be implemented. In addition, I left it on for six hours. It took me 8 hours to complete the task, which was significantly longer than the instructions stated.

It worked really well with Capture Dry
5/5

Normally, I only write reviews for products that either exceed or fail to meet my expectations. Capture went above and beyond my expectations. My yellow lab enjoys laying on the basement's first step. Needless to say, that step became filthy, and no amount of cleaning could make it disappear. I tried Capture Dry on its own and it helped a little, but after using the pre-treatment spray, the "lab stain" is no longer visible. This step now blends in with the others, and we also worked on a spot in another room that was faint but visible to us. This did a fantastic job of removing the stain and restoring the appearance of the carpet.

With our, it was obvious that everything was out
5/5

As directed, I lightly sprayed this on a high-traffic area and sprinkled the dry carpet cleaner on top. After brushing in the powder and letting it sit for several hours, it was all vacuumed out of the carpet after a few minutes of slowly moving in different directions. It was easy to tell that it was all out with our Dyson-like vacuum after emptying the clear debris chamber and repeating the process until the vacuum picked up no powder. br>br>The carpet smells wonderful and feels as soft as it did when it was under the furniture. No more renting a steam cleaner and wondering if we wet the carpet too much in the process of cleaning it. This, along with the dry carpet cleaner, is a fantastic product that we strongly recommend to others. Milliken Chemical owes me a debt of gratitude.

AMAZING
5/5

In a panic, I went to Home Depot and bought the powder. I had no idea I needed the spray until after it was too late. So I went to Amazon and placed an order for it. When I returned home from work one day, my husband had used it, and I immediately noticed it! We live in a rented home with a carpet that needs to be replaced, but we're making do for the time being. We clean our carpets on a regular basis, but it always seems to bring up more stains, and it's still unsightly when we're finished. The carpet appears to be clean as a result of this. The cleaner had removed the unsightly stains, and they had vanished! I'm sure they're still there, just beneath the surface, but it feels, looks, and smells better! Will most certainly be purchasing again and again.

It's ideal for quick cleanup and has a low order of magnitude
5/5

I've been using Capture for quite some time now. In the family room, we have beige carpeting, which works well for spills and food drops. I simply remove any loose food, lightly spray the spill area, and wipe it down with an absorbent cloth. In most cases, the area is cleaned up afterward, with only a few exceptions. a warning sign (However, when it comes to red wine, grape juice, and other similar beverages, all bets are off. ) ) There's no chemical odor, unlike Spotshot. I didn't give it a high rating for deep cleaning. Capture spray isn't meant for that. It'll keep you occupied until your carpets are professionally cleaned.

I absolutely adore it
5/5

This was purchased to go along with the Capture Dry carpet cleaner powder. I had recently relocated and was unable to locate an Oreck store (I had previously only used the Oreck spray). powder). I saw the Oreck products on line, but since I was on a budget after the move, I decided to try this much less expensive brand, which I absolutely love. My dog had a few accidents while adjusting to his new home, so I'm impressed with the cleaning power. I followed the directions provided by the manufacturer and WOW- There were no blemishes, no residue, and the air smelled clean and fresh. This Pre mist will always be used in conjunction with the Capture Dry carpet cleaner for me. It's amazing and it worked perfectly for me.

It's all good
4/5

Before sprinkling the Capture carpet and Rug Dry Cleaner, I sprayed this on a few pet stains. It was an excellent solution. There will be no stains any longer. However, there is a word of caution. I noticed what appeared to be bleached out areas where I had used the spray after vacuuming up the dry powder. I vacuumed again after waiting about an hour (thinking my carpet was ruined) and voila- There were no longer any white areas. To remove the powder from the carpet, all I had to do was let the spray dry completely.
