Filter replacement part number for model 1623102
It takes a long time to read! I can do two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a long hallway without ever having to switch plugs! My new vacuum has a much longer cord than my old one.
The brush is disabled when the controls are placed on hard floors. On hard floors, even if you forget to change the controls and the brush continues to work, it still performs admirably. It doesn't throw trash back at you or blow it away.
With only my old vacuum to compare it to, I believe it is relatively quiet, which I appreciate.

This was given to me as a "back-up" plan. I'm talking about my $800 vacuum cleaner. (In my house, there is one room that is not pet-friendly. ) a relative who is incontinent but is elderly- I had a specific vacuum in mind for this. )br>I put the pieces together (very easily) and plugged it in right out of the box, with no need for instructions. WOW! Suction power and maneuverability are both excellent. The crevice tool is narrow enough to fit into small spaces but wide enough to accommodate the round 'Captain crunch berries. ' )br>Because of the length of the cord, I was able to plug three rooms into the same outlet. br>However, I had to consult the instructions to figure out how to empty the container. It's not easy at first, but once you figure it out, it's fine. br>I like that you can rinse the filter rather than having to replace it frequently. br>Now, here are some comparisons to my $800 vacuum cleaner: br>*Suction is a term that refers to the process of removing something from the body. This one is right up there with the best. Possibly even better! br>*A battery vs. a cord: I thought I preferred battery, but I can't tell you how many times I've had to stop in the middle of a project to recharge another vacuum's battery. (Or, on the other hand, I didn't get it quite right on the charger, so I had to wait. ) ) Due to the length of the cord, it is actually a preference. *Canister: br>br>br>br>br>br>br Some canisters have a quick release mechanism that makes it easier to empty them. This one is a little more difficult to get rid of, but only by a few seconds. ALSO, this one has a larger space around the inner circle (once removed), so everything comes out easily when you dump it. (To get debris out of the others, use a pencil to swipe around the edge. ) )br>*This isn't a stand-alone argument. It needs to be propped up against something or laid down. It does, however, include a wall-mounted television. I'll gladly use the mounting for storage. (note: My more expensive cordless also does not work by itself. Other: (br>br>Other: (br>br>Other: (br>br>Other: br>There is some squeaking going on - The wheels, according to one reviewer, are to blame, but I noticed it as well. It has no effect on its performance, but I'm curious as to why. br>I read reviews that said it was a top-notch product. heavy. Despite the fact that it is heavier at the top, I did not find it to be excessively so. I'm not particularly strong, but I didn't find it to be particularly burdensome. ***I tested this on both carpet and hard floors, and it works great on both!.
This is fantastic! Before I bought it, I did some research into the concerns people had about it. The following are some of the issues that have been brought up: The filter is small and takes two seconds longer to empty than one swift movement, and it must be mounted to a wall (pieces provided) or lean against something (who cares). A video showing how to do it can be found here. It's not difficult to do. I'm used to a 30 pound vacuum from the 1980s, so the lack of noise, maneuverability, ease of use, and suction of this is incredible. It's nice to be able to see how much garbage it collects. It's very easy to get under any piece of furniture and it picks up everything. The image depicted was taken from a single use in a one-bedroom apartment. (Don't judge; I've been using a dust buster for months. ) My two cats and I are very content!.
Sweeper of the Year! This broom is fantastic. It's gentle on sofas, tough on floors, and excellent for stairwells. It's simple to use and light in weight. Because you have direct and consistent power with corded sweepers, they're a favorite. Consistent suction and performance are the result of consistent power. There aren't enough positive things to say about this sweeper!.
It offends me greatly. Updated: 04/31/2011 from 3 to 1 starbr>I'm beginning to believe that this vacuum is a joke. br>When I opened the roller head to clean it, I noticed that the plastic was on fire, and that the rattling sound was caused by the roller's poor design. br>I do not advise using this vacuum: /br>Take a look at the videos I've included. br>br>I want to like it, but I can't.
1. In comparison to other brands of the same size, it is quite heavy. br>2. It's so aggravating that reattaching the filter and canister to the body after cleaning the canister is a work of art.
3. It makes a rattling noise and is quite loud. br>br>It has some good features.
1. The brush requires less maintenance; some hair becomes stuck, but this isn't a major issue.
2. The suction is beneficial.
Is it possible to use? Yes, and it's comparable to my current vacuum cleaners, but I have some reservations about it. br>First and foremost, the wheels make a squeaky noise. The stick also won't lock in place, so you'll have to lean it against something or lay it on the floor to get it to stand up. Furthermore, instead of popping it up and using two wheels, you must push it back to "start" with the head down. Last but not least, emptying the bucket is inconvenient - To dump it, it's difficult to remove the filter/top area. Why can't we just have a one-stop shop for everything? Is there a release on the canister's bottom? br>While this vacuum has a few technical flaws that need to be addressed, it has good suction and picks up a similar amount of dirt as my other more expensive vacuums.
I bought it to get to places where my Roomba couldn't. For instance, underneath furniture. It will, however, only fit under my sofa. Everything else (see photos) does not fit, including the love seat, recliner, TV stand, hutch, and so on. The tube is too large in diameter for even the crevice tool to reach. Take a look at the images in the Amazon advertisement. The vacuum can't reach the furniture in the picture because it's too low. Steps: Yes, it will cover the horizontal portion of the step, but because the unit is too long, it will not cover the vertical carpeted portion. Only the outside edges will be covered. So you've got a 6-inch section in the middle of the riser that the rotating brush attachment just can't get to. Finally, the entire advertisement emphasizes convenience and includes what appears to be a functional storage station. If you're getting this to, say, pick up pet hair off of furniture, you'll have to disassemble the vacuum, disconnect the tube, and store the floor attachment somewhere - They will not be able to stand on their own. Of course, everything must be reassembled before being returned to the station. As a result, the TurboEraser isn't something you can just grab and use. br>In conclusion: Most furniture is too high for it to reach under. The TurboEraser tool does not work on the carpeted step's vertical part (riser). It's either all or nothing at the storage station: it is inconvenient.
