Some of the reviews made me skeptical In spite of this, I am very pleased with my purchase! Plastic though it is, it is highly durable, and it does the job well. A bag is not required to use this, but I prefer it to be as sanitary as possible. In order to put the bag in the can while not making it visible from the outside, place it inside and tuck the excess inside the liner. This is not an easy product to put together. However, it does its job very well. I bought it to keep my dogs out of the bathroom trash. Considering that I have all my bathrooms tiled with white or marble, I decided on white ones to do. Despite ordering 4, all came brand new, complete with original packaging. There's a little dog in our house that sometimes gets into the bathroom trash cans so this prevents that from happening. It is a great price.
