I value style over size in this case, so I'm willing to make more trash runs for the beauty of this stainless steel container. I recommend the bin as a whole. Almost fit, but not quite. The liners are just a little too deep. As for the custom fit, they fit well, but not quite. There is no way I will ever go back to using plastic trash cans.

In spite of product photos on Amazon that showed it with garbage bags installed, there were no garbage bags included with the product! Now I have a garbage can I cannot use until my SimpleHuman bags arrive. On the product page, this information should be clearly displayed.

In general, I think this is a nice can that fits both grocery bags and the can itself. However, as others have said, it would be easier to insert the bag if it had hooks like there are on As there was no other option for a can that had a top that opens, I had to get this one. In other reviews, people fail to mention that there is a small hole on the plastic liner that allows you to tuck your bag into the liner. It does require a bit of skill to get the bag not to show through the lid, but it can be done in a few seconds once you figure out how it is done. It could certainly be redesigned, but that isn't the end of the world. I had a dent in this shipper and Amazon sold it to me with one! They may be able to resolve this issue, but it is still inconvenient for me and I do not wish to pay a high price for a trash can that has dents in it.
