These are transparent containers. I don't use them for their intended purpose; instead, I cut the tops off where they are square, glued magnets to them, decorated them, and use them to store makeup, brushes, and eyeshadow. I covered a piece of sheet metal with a wood frame and made it more convenient to store my makeup by covering it with a piece of sheet metal, putting a wood frame around it, and so on.

I enjoy cooking and, in order to save money, I purchase seasonings in bulk, so having adequate sized/quality containers was essential. These are perfect for the price, and they get rid of all the tiny jars that were a pain to keep organized in my cabinets. I attempted to order more, but they were out of stock. So far, neither the durability nor the functionality have been a problem for me. If anything changes, I'll let you know.
I've bought large containers of dried herbs and spices in bottles similar to these in the past. They are precisely what I had hoped for. The volume is 16 fl oz, but the weight of what you can store in them depends on what you put in them.

I got 12 bear-shaped bottles with yellow tops, similar to those used to sell honey. I won't be returning them because I can still use them to store some of the bulk spices I buy. It's just not the item shown.

I prefer to buy spices in bulk bags, but how do I keep them organized? I used to use empty Parmesean Cheese containers, but we don't eat nearly as much cheese as we once did. So these containers are ideal: the shaker side has a scoop size, and the lid has a shaker side. The shape also makes it easy to line them up in the pantry. All you have to do now is create a label - it's that simple. There are no labels with this kit.
