Questions & Answers
These dispensers are designed to fit standard sandwich bread loaves. They won't work with rye or pumpernickel bread.
The bread is kept in its plastic bag, but the open end is pulled inside-out over the container's edge. The loaf will then be lifted to the top by pulling the plastic bag down over the outside of the container. A minimum amount of air is trapped inside the plastic bag, which is sandwiched between the container and the lid.
Only the smaller square loaves will fit in there.
When they pull the plastic bag up to the top of the loaf, they let air in to avoid a vacuum.

I had no idea these were available- I came across them while looking for a bread box, and I'm glad I did. Some people complained about holes in the bottom of this, so I had to make a video review. Those are SUPPOSED to be there because you put the bread in the bag and the bag in the bread keeper. When you lift the bag, the bread rises to the top. The holes prevent air from reaching the bread because the bottom of the bag is sandwiched between the holes and the bread, lol.
These appeal to me. They're the ideal size for a full loaf of bread (not love, just like). Simple to work with. For those who are displeased with the bottom-holes. The bread should be kept inside the bag and placed in the box. After that, you stretch the bag's opening over the top and pull it down, bringing the next piece of bread to the top. The holes in the bottom of the bag are for ventilation and to prevent a vacuum seal from forming, which would prevent you from pulling the bag down. This isn't one of those where you just throw the bread in and forget about it. My only gripe is that the lid is far too easy to remove. When I move the container, one of its corners will simply pop off. I tried really hard to make sure it was all the way on, but it still did it.
I was able to save a significant amount of space above my cupboards, and there was no more squashed bread!.
I was looking for a container to keep bread in when I came across this one. I read in some of the reviews that the container had holes in the bottom. The holes are there to allow air to flow through. Leave the bread in the bag, untwist the twist tie, and fold the bread wrapper down over the container before covering it with the top. So far, these containers haven't given me any problems. I simply put them up on their feet. My bread is still fresh, despite the fact that I purchased it more than a week ago.
It's not a sealed container; there are four large holes in the bottom; it can't keep air out.
To ensure that you purchase the correct item, this one is designed to hold a loaf of bread, with the bread being placed inside the plastic container using the existing plastic bag. It will keep your bread safe from dust, dirt, pets, and squashing. It is not, however, airtight in the same way that a Tupperware container is. It has holes in the bottom to allow air to escape as the bagged loaf is slid into the container without having to force it. I've been using it for "artisan" style loaves, which are slightly wider than standard, and it works fine; however, it won't keep insects or water out, so you'd use a different container for camping, for example.
I like these a lot. I was fed up with finding half-opened loaves of bread on the counter, so I jumped at the chance to buy these after seeing a YouTuber rave about them. In my house, these have completely changed the game. This purchase has left me with no regrets. They are simple to use and keep the air out. I would definitely recommend it to others and purchase it again if the need arises.
I liked this product and had previously purchased one from Fred's but was unable to locate it. Because Fred's had gone out of business, I assumed I was out of luck. However, I was able to locate them once more. It's one of my favorites because it keeps bread from molding and keeps it fresh.
