The ceramic cookie jar looks like a vintage type, with a vintage style glass knob on the lid and a silicone seal on the lid.
Considering there is a screw underneath, it is probably doable, but it is the knob that makes it special.
Despite the lid being sealed with rubber gasket, there is air inside. On this jar, my cookies stay fresh for quite a while.

Though the reviews said broken jars would arrive, I decided to take the chance and order it anyway. Yesterday, it arrived and I am happy to tell you that it is in good condition. No cracks whatsoever! Packaged well, it arrived in perfect condition. I recognize that there is a weird little blip in the glaze (see photo), but nobody but me will ever notice it, and it isn't bothersome.

Cookie jars like this one are so cute. Even though I thought it was broken, I would probably have broken it myself if I had kept it. The thing is, it has three tiny legs made of "break-resistant" material and it's on three tiny legs I have a problem with it because it doesn't seal well.
