On a whim, I bought this because I wanted to own a cookie jar and I am a big Doctor Who fan. Despite its size, this jar is actually very attractive and well-made. So, to sum it all up. Do you have a look at the photo? There is a mistake on the "Police Box" side of the front cover. The Doctor's story is just fine everywhere else. I suppose it serves as a conversation starter for those friends visiting who know who he is. In that case, I can say, "Funny story. ". In that regard, I gave it a four-star rating instead of a five-star rating. And if you're thinking of buying it on a whim, I recommend it. The reviews probably weren't a factor for you to read.

I would have given it 5 stars if not for the size and quality of the porcelain. The wording on the top of the police box is upside down. Do not have time to return it as we will be using it as a centerpiece at our It's possible that the people attacheding are not as crazy doctors as I am, so will not receive such notice.
