They are extremely small. They can be hung from a thin rod, but not from a standard closet rod.
The ones I bought have a length of 3 1/2 inches and a diameter of 1/8 inch. The ends are made of plastic and can be removed.
I'm currently carrying 30 pounds. It's stainless steel, so it should be able to hold a lot more.
There is a slight difference in width between one end and the other, but it is not 1. 5".

They're incredible! They're extremely durable, in the sense that they're not flimsy and appear to be able to support a significant amount of weight. In addition, the finish is excellent.
This is fantastic. They're what I use to hang my pots and pans from my wire rack. They can withstand the weight of cast iron.
In contrast to the shepherd's hooks I obtained from a. I needed small hooks to hang my new bird feeding station's feeders. Everything went off without a hitch. My feeder rings fit perfectly on these because they aren't too big/long or too small/short. I'll be very pleased if the product description is correct in stating that these will not rust. In contrast to the rusted and filthy shepherd's hooks I purchased from a bird store. I really like how "my" Goldfinch sits on it (see photo). LOL!.
I ordered a second set so that I would have one on hand for kitchen utensils, including pots and pans. When I have to hang something, I use key rings.
I use these hooks for a variety of purposes. Some of them are used in conjunction with a pot and pan rack. Others are used to hang small items from a closet maid shelf unit, and one is used to hang a humming bird feeder from a shepherds hook. Because there were some concerns about the size, I took a photo with a ruler.
Which would most likely bust it over time. In addition, the caddy's top shelf was too high. So I got crafty and used a 12 inch S hook and a 3 inch S hook to lower it. (I couldn't find a 3 inch hook). White (4 inch) and Walla- Now everything is in order! I also like the fact that these three are related. 4 of them have small plastic covers on the tips so they don't puncture my shower. br>It's also easier for my 9-year-old granddaughter to reach it now. These are a good price, and if the price stays the same and I need more in the future, I'll probably buy them again. Take a look at the images attached.
I have a 3/4 inch by 1 inch wooden "hangar platform" that I built. Wooden pieces measuring 5 inches These hooks are wide enough to accommodate the 3/4 inch well, resulting in a very stable product. They're stainless, have plastic tips on both ends, and are large enough to fit my platform, which I like. br>I will definitely order these again if I need more!.
These were purchased to hang skeletons so that they could be easily decorated. They are now being used to store the skeletons. Each skeleton weighs about 5 pounds, so the hooks are perfect. We've hung up to three skeletons from a single hook.
