There is a weight guide for these, but they are probably not the best The coat hangers do hold coats well, and in response to the reviewer who said the cork boards did not hold, these aren't made for that purpose. Sometimes when people aren't patient enough with them, the hangers can malfunction because you need to wait a bit before hooking anything on them. Thanks! I hope you find this helpful.

The one you're looking for is different. It is very easy to install damage free hooks with command brand, they offer great hooks without damaging anything. For aesthetic reasons, I wanted a matte black finish since it sounds different than the other colors they offer, so I said, okay, this one looks exactly how I want it to look. My first impressions upon receiving the line up were that the hook was swiveled, which I thought was a property of the line. Several months after I received it, I went to install it in my son's room and was amazed to see that the hook had fallen off the anchor. It would be better to go with the regular command hooks and skip this one, there is no need for the fancy looking matte black everything hooks. ** * * Finally, the double sided tape is smaller than what they usually offer. The Command app I normally use is awesome

It's a great idea to use these hooks. The reason I chose these was because I was hesitant to drill into the sides of my cabinets. Each of the two left and center cutting boards weighs about an ounce and a half. solid marble board on the right is from West Elm and made of Acacia wood. My CPAP mask is powered by these command hooks. In order to keep my mask from falling to the floor, I glued it to my headboard. The hook on my mask always comes off the base and falls to the floor every time I grab it! As if that were supposed to happen, it came apart. For the sake of keeping it together, I used double-sided tape. There is no longer a high quality command hook available from 3M. Make sure you know what you're getting into.
It is nice to have command hooks that aren't just white plastic ones that are hung out in the open and still look good. I like them because they provide a stylish look. Although they are good and look very classy, they are not as tight on the base as other hooks from this brand. The hook wiggles ever so slightly. I can use it without worry of it falling off or anything, but it moves every time I do.
