Yes, I agree. ordered 2 panels of blackout curtains of 54x84 and they weigh 4lbs each, along with a small Cafe curtain rod (7/16), and they are able to open and close properly now. They stay upright if you close the door. My original curtain rod was 7/8 thick and it was too big to fit into the hooks. If you have a curtain rod that is thinner than that, it Similarly, the finials on my cafe rod are not too big. Following the commands (press for 10 seconds, remove the hook, press for 30 seconds, put the hook back, let stand for an hour, and then I put them up) I would like to report that everything went as instructed. A rod is I've never found a solution that works better.
You can use it on a 3/4-inch road no problem. Although the hooks are too short, the rod makes contact with the wall far too closely, so that you cannot attach any decorative ends to it. Furthermore, the curtains are pressed right up against the window, so I would not recommend this product for this.
In response to my call to 3M customer service, they sent me some plastic mounting pieces. They should be contacted On their company website, you can find their telephone number. The company is great!
As you can see in the photo, there are two After wet suits are dried in the hot tub, we hang them on them. The last time they were updated was approximately a year and a half ago. You've done a great job, and it works

Because I live in a home facing east, it is impossible to drill holes in the walls. So these hooks are great for me. My curtains are black out because I hung them with three hooks. A pair of black out curtains measuring 54x86, weighing 4lbs each, were used in the room. It occurred to me to notice the item weight/shipping weight of those I bought from Amazon too. Cafe rods measure 7/16 inch in diameter and can be adjusted from 48 to 54 inches It fits perfectly in the hook as it is 86 wide. A 7/8 cafe rod was originally ordered, but it was too thick for the hook, so you should go with anything smaller than a 7/8 rod. During my trip to bed bath and beyond, I found the smaller cafe curtain rod. It was better to use three hooks than two to be safe, but two would have been fine. It is easy for me to open and close my curtains and there is no indication of instability. As for the command instructions (press for 10 seconds, remove hook, press for 30 seconds, put hook back, let it stand for an hour) I followed them before hanging my curtains, so I am sure that very much.
Two of my light curtains (which could not have been heavier than 3 pounds) fell over. In the end, after using all the adhesive, I bought a third hook for extra safety and bought the 16-lb picture hanging strips just in case. Two of the hooks gave out over time. About 30 minutes after installing the curtains, they fell on my face in the middle of the night. My command strips have run out, and I have no Here is a review I hope someone will find helpful.
The knobs were purchased to be used as pull knobs on my kitchen cabinets. Because I live in an apartment, I cannot drill any holes in the cabinets for pull knobs, but this product worked beautifully.
With the command hooks, we provided support for curtain rods that were going to be hung It is necessary to leave about a half inch of space above the top of the hook to let the cover/hook cover the adhesive strip this made it difficult for us to hang them quite as high as we preferred. In addition, they don't have much reach away from the wall. This means that the curtains touch the blinds on our windows a little.
My aim was to hang headphones on the wall using the large hooks. There is about a 1-inch gap between the widest headbands of my headphones. The number five. Because so many dimensions were portrayed in the one image, I thought it was the best choice. Despite the fact that I am inexperienced, I believe that the hook depth appears to be 1 in that image, so that would be the distance from the surface of the base to the inside of the hook. The number 625. There is no evidence of this. I described a space of barely over an inch, so you won't be able to hang anything larger than that.
If you are looking to hang anything wider/larger than that, As they seem well made and relatively robust, I am giving them two stars. In fact, had I not destroyed the packaging, I would have sent them.
The hooks let you hang things without drilling holes in the wall, which can be very handy if you are renting. Although I had the desire to hang curtains in my apartment, I did not want to screw anything into the wall. A DIY project involving using hooks and rods to hold a curtain was posted online. Here are some photos showing what it looks like. My favorite part about this is that I do not have to drill anything into the walls in order to hang curtains. When you are no longer using the hook, you can easily remove the adhesive. There is no coming down of them because they are sturdy. For almost a year now, I've had them up, and they've lasted without a problem and even in humid weather.
A rod bracket is not something I want to drill in. After cleaning the walls (painted drywall) with alcohol, I followed the instructions to the letter. the curtain rod with a single panel curtain was on the hooks for two hours, I hung the curtain on the rod. The paint was taken with the hook that fell off the wall 10 minutes later. It says on the package that the hooks can accommodate 5 pounds of weight, but I can assure you the rod plus the panel weighed about 2 pounds. So now I have to touch up where the paint came off and come up with another option. Using a fresh adhesive strip, I decided to reuse the single hook. The hook was hung on the laundry room wall according to the same exact instructions. Holding the feather duster for an hour and a half lasted for me this time! After falling off the wall, she was injured. don't know if it's the hook, the adhesive strip, or whatever, but I don't intend to use 3M products any longer. There is so much money spent on these devices, and they do not live up to their claims. Instead of Gorilla glue, I will use tape or Gorilla glue.
The command hooks I used to hold my curtain rod and my room supply on my wall at my college apartment can be found here. The curtains are getting darker. Everything works as it should. If you want to hang something like curtains on them, then I would definitely recommend waiting the full hour. Despite that, I haven't had any issues with them. As well, I used a 5/8" curtain rod and it fitted perfectly on the hook with plenty of I would recommend it highly.
