Both sides of the horizontal shelves are open. I like it because I can access my papers from both sides because it sits on my desk in that position. I haven't had any problems with items falling out because the shelves are deep enough. I suppose it depends on how much stuff you try to cram onto a single shelf.
13 1/2 inches across, 11 1/2 inches deep, and 13 inches tall. I like it; it's sturdy and exactly what I was looking for in my home office; I hope this information was useful.
The top corners have four holes, and you attach it to the desk from the bottom using the included screws. It would be much easier to attach it if you could flip the entire desk over, but I was able to do so with the desk upright and the assistance of another person.
It has a great deal of consistency. I've stuffed each section with papers and heavy paper in order to make mailing labels. The bottom shelf has two shelves where I keep CDs and other printer-related items. It's right next to the computer and printer for me.

The shelf itself is fine, but installing it is a pain because the four mounting screw holes are directly above the basket, making it nearly impossible to reach with a standard drill or screwdriver. As a result, the screws must be installed at an angle. br>br>In addition, as you can see from the photos, it comes in a small box, so three of the corners are bent. Because I'm impatient and have tools, I decided to repair it rather than send it back.
The slots are large enough to fit large laptops and the thick covers on Amazon Fire tablets. Even with the children pulling the laptops in and out, it is sturdy and does not wobble or flex.
" I needed more space underneath my IKEA table, so this seemed like a good option. Fitment- It was actually quite good in terms of quality. I worked my way around the thick 1. There are no issues with the 5 inch metal braces beneath the table. It was most likely 0 br>br> It's 25 inches longer than I expected, so it hits the thick table leg. This means that if I wanted a snug fit at the top where it hangs onto the table's surface, I'd have to move it inwards rather than outwards. Up top, there is a 25-inch gap. br>br>It's all about the small stuff. br>br>What irritates me the most is that it does not remain "firm. " That is to say, as I exit the table area, my knee may lightly strike the tray, knocking it sideways. There's nothing holding this thing in place except for the four little foam feet on top and the single rubber stopper at the bottom! I'm not sure I want to keep it for the price. br>br>.
However, it does an excellent job of keeping my cutting boards and other kitchen tools organized. It's even strong enough to support my dutch oven's cast iron lid. I anticipated a tight fit in my kitchen cart, but the advertised dimensions are correct. This is something I would recommend for kitchen organization, and I'm sure it would work well for filing as well.
I've been looking for something that would work well with my baking pans in our cupboard for YEARS, having previously relied on a lid holder that was adequate but not wide enough to keep the pans level. I tried another file holder, which was not at all sturdy. Last week, while looking for office supplies for work, I came across this and immediately thought of my baking pans! I'm glad I chose this one over the shorter version. It's a perfect fit and extremely durable! br>br>It doesn't quite fit my glass pans, but that's okay because it'll be in an overhead cabinet. You could bend the sides a little to make it fit, but they're pretty sturdy. It's compatible with my standard metal/nonstick cake pans, which is fantastic! I can fit two stacking cooling racks (with folded legs) into one section, but the shape of the legs makes it a tight fit. br>br>I'm ecstatic!.
I spent a lot of time looking for a combination storage and charging station on Amazon and other websites, but I couldn't find it. So, what do you do when there isn't a good, cost-effective product out there? You're a natural at making things up as you go along. This Safco product worked well with a Dodocool Smart Power Strip ($16), which has three AC outlets and four USB ports, all of which are surge protected. Take a look at this image: 7 laptops, 1 Kindle Fire, 3 phones, and a smart sports watch are all neatly tucked away behind the charging rack. br>br>Essentially, a low-cost office product combined with a USB/AC power strip makes the ideal "Home Charging Rack. " You first heard the term here, and now it's up to the electronics companies to make millions by commercializing it! (I know there are similar products out there, but take a look at the ridiculous prices for a box and charging ports. ).
It's been a complete nightmare trying to get this to work. There is no way to get any tools under the shelf to put the screws in because there isn't enough room.
Consider this to be a two-part review. The shelf is rated four out of five stars. The shelf's installation gets a two-star rating. br>The shelf is great, except that the top drawer can easily be pulled out, spilling everything. I'm experimenting with various methods to keep the drawer from being pulled too far out. It's solid and well-made once it's mounted. 4 out of 5 starsbr>br>Mounting the shelf is difficult. The mounting top and bottom shelf are identical in size. To mount the shelf, you won't be able to get a drill or a screwdriver right on the screws. What could have taken 5 minutes took a long time and required tools that not everyone has. 2 stars.
