A three-inch binder is too large. It contains a 2-inch D-ring binder. It makes the dividers a little longer.
Yes, and I am very pleased with my new one. It can hold a TON of files; I even have a couple of 3-ring binders in there. It's full of ring binders. I found EXACTLY what I needed. I also don't have to worry about it discoloring or becoming brittle and breaking because it isn't made of that stiff plastic. This is something I would strongly recommend. br>Actually, I JUST CHECKED mine, and it actually sits up off the table a little bit, resting on the legs at either end (as seen in the photo). I can stick my fingers between the top of my table and the bottom of the main body of the thing, and it's FULL of files. The two end "legs" kind of hold the body of the thing up off the table top, so there's actually minimal contact; I can stick my fingers between the top of my table and the bottom of the main body of the thing, and it's FULL of files.

To keep the cables in place, I used zip ties. In my classroom, it's a definite hit!.
It works great with our Chromebooks and Kindles. br>br>It's easy to use, portable, and effective. br>br>I've been looking for a way to keep our computers and kindles organized while they charge, and this is ideal.
All of the students in our high school and middle school receive a chromebook from the school. For a variety of reasons, I despise them. So, in an attempt to keep four Chromebooks and four charging cables somewhat organized, I bought this stand, which holds the Chromebooks just fine, though some of the dividers bend forward or back occasionally; it would be ideal for file folders or something lighter weight. Although the chromebooks are a little too heavy for it, it still works fine. I used binder clips to secure their charging cables to it.
In my home's "office/computer room," I have a 60-year-old oak desk that I used at work in the late 1960s (the company purchased new desks, and I purchased this one for $10). I decided to use the large File Drawer to organize all of the stuff I'd been strewn about the house. I didn't want to set up the entire Pendaflex rack, so I got this instead: I put it in the drawer, only to find out that the hanging folders I had wouldn't fit (oops!). Even though this rack fit fine in the drawer, it was 1/4" too narrow. br>br>Then I noticed this. I bought it because I figured in for a penny, in for a pound. It was able to be stowed away in the drawer. The folders fit in there without the use of the Pendaflex hanging things, and the dividers keep them from falling over. I can also store other items in the back of it. If you need to make a small file "cabinet" in a bigger drawer, this is the way to go.
I bought this to store my sheet pans and cutting boards underneath a cabinet. It's big enough to get the job done well. Because it can hold those heavy items, I'm sure it'd be fine on your desk with file folders and papers as well!.
To match my craft room, I sprayed three of these turquoise. They're strong enough to hold a lot of paper upright, but the dividers can be bent easily if you want to. I used Command hooks to hang two of them on my wall. I kept the dividers (which are now serving as shelves) straight to hold small tin trays for drying my resin jewelry. On the other hand, I bent the dividers slightly upwards so that I could place rolls of vinyl on top of them without them rolling away. Each "shelf" is large enough to hold four standard rolls of vinyl.
Reason for 4-star rating 5 out of 5 stars Although the sorter is sturdy, I would have preferred if all of the dividers were straight or slightly angled, rather than two of them being slanted significantly. It's just a matter of taste. br>br>Review: br>br> The stacking sorter is well-made and capable of holding a large amount of paper. It sits securely on the desk and accomplishes the task at hand.
This is how it works: Makeup palettes are one of my favorite things in the world. br>I'm pretty sure I have around 20 different eye shadow, contour, highlight, and blush palettes. The problem I was having was that they were taking up a lot of space in piles and couldn't seem to keep themselves organized. Other makeup palette organizers are a bit pricey if you need more than one or two, and they don't bend at all (they're mostly plastic). When I saw how spacious this was, I decided to buy it, and I'm glad I did. Now I know where each palette is, they're no longer stacked, and one of these fits them all nicely with some room to spare. It doesn't have a lot of give, but it will bend a little (which is exactly what I was looking for, but it's good to know). It's very solid and doesn't have a sag in the middle. br>Overall, I was blown away!.
