Using on cubicle wall to hold document sets and folders, even when full, is not a problem. I believe it would be determined by the wall's strength; these are very well-built structures.
From where it bends down, I'd estimate it's about 4 inches.
Yes, that's exactly what I did in my home office, replacing the detachable cube wall hooks with a couple of picture hanging hooks. It's easy to use and looks fantastic. Without the clutter on your desk, you'll have a great deal of organization. I would strongly suggest it.

Several full bins can be stored in the top bin. This is a terrible design. The top bin can hold several full folders, but the bottom two bins are practically unusable due to the way they are stacked. The bottom two can hold one thin file or a few sheets of paper, but that's it. I returned these and received a new set with more space between the bins, allowing me to use all three bins to their full depth.
But it fulfills my requirements perfectly. I was fed up with having to dig through my drawer to find letterhead and labels for my printer. And I don't have much room on my desk. This is a perfect solution to that. I've received numerous compliments, and the fact that I'm so well-organized makes my inner OCD happy. The only problem I have is that the plastic label things that are supposed to go with it don't seem to work as well as they should. I tried to snap them on, but the angle made them look awkward and obscured their visibility. Because sticky labels and tape don't last long on mesh, I'm still trying to figure out how to label each section. Otherwise, it was a fantastic purchase with which I am extremely pleased.
I bought these for the employees at my place of business. They are sturdy baskets that should last a long time; there are only two drawbacks. Con 1: Because we have cubicles with glass panels around the tops that our staff uses as a dry erase board, our cubicles are a little wider than the standard, and the hook is made for the standard size cubicle, so we had to bend the tops to accommodate our size cubicle. Until we bought these baskets, we had no idea our cubicles weren't the standard size. Con 2. Due to the designs, you won't be able to fit as much in baskets 2 and 3. Because each basket is nested into the next, it takes up a lot of space in your storage. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase; it isn't a perfect fit, but our staff enjoys them and finds them useful.
This is exactly what I was looking for, and I had no idea until I found it! Because I share several cubicle walls, staff frequently place documents on my desk to be approved, etc. , which can quickly become cluttered. This device is ideal for keeping documents, forms, and other items separate. and not have them left on my desk while I'm away. br>br>As you can see in my photos, I have it hooked outside my cubicle's entrance. Irbia is strong and holds a lot of stuff.
There was an issue with the item. It wasn't wrapped in any way to keep it safe. I was surprised to find the damaged corner when I opened the outer box, which showed no signs of damage. Then, when I went back to read the reviews, I wasn't surprised. This item is very durable and looks great on the cubicle wall. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because there is wasted space in the bottom two file pockets (pockets sit slightly inside each other) and it sticks out about four inches more than my other plastic one. There is about 1 1/2" of space for files/papers in the bottom two pockets, which is more than enough for my needs, and the measurements are listed in the description, so there are no surprises.
When you need to hang your inbox but don't want to drill holes and have a convenient lip at the top of your computer desk or cube wall, these stylish wire baskets work great.
