It is, in fact, quite safe. It was no problem for me to fill the bar with hangers of clothes.
I'm not sure, maybe sew it together or cover the hole with a piece of heavy material?
It is designed for wheels, and while they are useful, you could probably do without them, though the unit would be about 2" off the ground. If the bags become too heavy to carry, they can be hung from the ceiling. Wheels are a good thing in my opinion- If you don't want it to roll, it won't. I hope this information is useful.

I originally purchased this product to save time separating clothes and commuting to the laundry--the material is extremely cheap for the price of this product. mat. My first time rolling the cart made me regret buying it because it not only made it difficult for me to move around, but it also couldn't carry my laundry. The cart is NOT HEAVY DUTY; it kept shifting back and forth, despite the fact that the sorter bags were not even half full. Unless the product was under $20, I would not recommend it to anyone. This isn't a cart that'll hold a lot of weight.
I had a broken one from another company and decided to replace it with this one. When I first started putting it together, I knew it would be of much higher quality. You won't have to worry about this breaking because of the heavy-duty bags. Also, aside from the pieces that go between the screws, there isn't a single piece of plastic in this. If you're not sure about using the top rack, it can be removed, but I keep it in the laundry room and, because it's on wheels, I can pull it through the house and pick up clothes as I'm putting things away. It also comes with a lifetime replacement warranty, which is great, but I doubt anything on it will ever break.
I could tell right away that this was a shoddy product, and the instructions were incorrect. They require an additional component not included in the kit. You'd be surprised to learn that you can put it together without any tools. After putting clothes in and on the rack, as well as bags, it was NEVER sturdy. It swayed from side to side and was unable to maintain its stability. It lasted about ten months before the hanging rack gave way under the weight of about ten pounds of clothing. Someone was crushed when the rack snapped off and broke on top of them. My finger was then sliced open by the exposed metal. It kept the clothes in place, but it isn't a long-term solution. Look elsewhere if you're looking for something of high quality.

Despite the fact that I had never heard of this brand before, it was well worth the risk, especially at the current price (around $50 when I bought it). br>br>There are a few things that could be improved on this cart, such as the soldering at the joints, which could be done all the way around to make them stronger, as mentioned by another reviewer. The bags could also be a little bigger, but they can still hold a full load of clothes. Overall, I'm happy with this cart, and I wouldn't be surprised if the price rises as it becomes more popular.
