Yes, you can remove the bags and wash them. They're made of a heavy-duty canvas. I haven't washed mine yet because I only got the sorter a few days ago. I imagine that after washing, the bags will not be as crisp, but they will be clean.
One load fits in each basket.

It could be used without wheels, but unless you use a slider underneath, movement could scratch the floor. The height would be around 27 inches at that point.

I bought one for myself and one for my husband, but it has not assisted my husband in learning how to do laundry. I'm guessing it requires more software.
This is a fairly high-quality product. quality item, but they clearly cut corners in several areas, lowering my satisfaction and reducing what could have easily been a five-star product to a three-star product. a five-star product. br>br>Assembly was a breeze. br>br> One thing to keep in mind when putting the wheels together is that only two of them have locking mechanisms, which I assume is to save money. As a result, before you install the wheels on the frame, consider which corners you want the locking mechanisms on based on where/how you'll use it. br>br>In terms of the bags, they are easy to lift out, which is convenient, but they are designed to be smaller than necessary. There is a lot of unused space around, below, and between the bags, which is difficult to see in the product picture (with the exception of perhaps the bottom of the bags relative to the frame). As a result, the bags individually and collectively hold far less than I anticipated, and far less than could have been possible without modifying the frame or having difficulty lifting a full bag out. This is, without a doubt, the most dissatisfying "feature. " It seems like they probably saved 5% on their cost but as a result, 25%(? ) than would otherwise be the case. When I see the unit with one or more full bags, I'm reminded of this.
The canvas bags are of excellent quality and extremely durable. The wheels glide easily across our linoleum floors, but they wobble a lot on concrete paths and in the street. I understand they weren't designed for outdoor use, so I'm not going to hold it against them, but I think I'll have to replace the wheels with something more durable. Overall, the cart is in good condition. Without even trying, I was able to make and store a large amount of laundry, as well as detergent and fabric softener. For the price, it's an excellent product, and I'm very pleased with it.
It was the perfect fit. It's the perfect size, neither too big nor too small. I was able to place it next to my washing machine. It also holds a lot more clothes than I expected. At that price, you will not be disappointed.

I ordered a similar cart a while back and it arrived with precisely zero screws in the box, so I returned it, but I'm glad I got this one instead. I need a serious hamper for my serious laundry because I have a family of five, three of whom are active teenage boys and one of whom is a husband who works as a residential contractor. Wow, I'm pleasantly surprised at how durable it is. I had one that was super wobbly and fell apart after a few months that I had purchased from Walmart. Based on the quality and structure, I anticipate this one lasting a long time. It was simple to assemble by myself (and I'm 8 months pregnant, so that's saying something), and the wheels are nice and easy to roll. The breaks are an excellent addition. I wasn't expecting the canvas bags to be so thick. They do have a new odor, but I couldn't smell it by the time I was done putting it together. I'm overjoyed to have received it.
