The surface looks pretty much the same as the photo, but there is one thing you might find interesting. My general impression of the product is that it looks cheap due to the weaving of the simulated rattan. Other than realizing the bag is one piece, I did not realize it was one The bag is one with a divider that runs down the middle, I thought it would have individual sides that could be removed separately. Normally, the colored side of our towels fills up faster than the white side, but you cannot separate the two sides to take to the laundry room separately. This should have been obvious before I placed my order if I had paid closer attention. I expect better quality for the price. Overall, I think it does the job, but I expected more for the price.
I purchased it and an identical one from Amazon. I should not have tried to assemble the other hamper because it was too hard. It was so easy to take him straight out of the box and pop him This liner includes an additional liner too, which I appreciate.

A new hamper was on my wish list for months after I broke my last two cheaper ones. It took me a while to choose this one over a similar cloth/denim one on Amazon, but I am so happy I finally did! Using it for about 2 months now, and I not only found it to be worth the money, but it is also easy to use. When it is full, even when it is huge, it is not too heavy to carry to the opposite end of the house for my laundry. In my opinion, it appears to be very durable and I cannot imagine how it could break. There is a possibility that the liner may rip eventually, though an extra liner arrives with the bag.
