The only thing I can say is that we have never had a hint of mold or mildew after daily use with our dirty laundry, sometimes moist. It is true that California is not a humid place.

You can get them at Bed Bath & beyond and at other stores and websites, even on Amazon The soft sided laundry bags will do just fine. Those slots fit to a tee perfectly. The best ones are the ones that stand on their own with handles.

There is so much more to it than I anticipated. I also found it to be very easy to assemble.
In addition to a removable exterior shell (laundry bag), there are also removable interior pockets. Usually, it takes 30 days for the bags to tear and the hanging straps to fall For anyone who will use the removable bags to transport laundry, I would not recommend this product.
Generally, however, the box seems sturdy enough to hold a lot of laundry. As far as the bag being removeable and held in place with toggle loops, I think that is much more practical than Velcro which is prone to tearing over time. I wish they offered a smaller 2 bin version, as the two bin is too large.
Despite being okay, I do not think I will keep it up for the rest of the year. As good as it is to have the laundry bag open while moving clothes upstairs and downstairs, I do like how you can lift it out.
It assembles in minutes as shown and looks exactly what you see in the picture. I love how it has a closing lid to keep everything neat. The bottom of the hamper looks neat and stays odor free if you place a box of baking soda at the bottom, and the lid completes the look.
I had problems putting it together and the center divider fabric ripped. This was definitely not a fair price for the product. It is a very high price for what you get.
I found it to be very easy to assemble as well as a lot more sturdy than expected. Taking out the dirty clothes as they are already sorted and ready for washing, you can take them out as soon as they are full. Only one thing about this brand of hamper I didn't like The bags have to be left inside the hamper until you are ready to unpack it. Every brand does this in their own way. Attaching the inner bags to the brand's bags is done with Velcro and buttons. Buttons are hard to undo and redo due to their design. There's just too much hassle in it.
