Between the two sections is a hard board that makes the table sturdy when it is The quality is excellent and should last quite a while with normal use. Mine will not be transported at all, so I expect it to last a long time. My impression was particularly positive because it was so inexpensive compared to others I checked out. As far as I know, it does what it should be doing. The actual scene was as depicted in the pictures. I really enjoy how well made this is and how much it enhances the look of the bathroom. The top of the hamper has a nice flat surface where you can put items when the hamper Sadly, this hamper does not do laundry or put clothes away for you (see photo).
My intention was to order the single hamper, but I didn't pay attention and I ended up ordering the double hamper. It was good of me to do it. As hard as it is for me to believe I'm writing a review for a laundry basket, I really love it. Several years ago, I bought one at the Container Store for $90, and once it reached home, it was ok, but I felt guilty spending that much on something I could just throw dirty clothes into. Recently, I moved into a new condo in which storage is limited however, the bathroom is quite large, which is why I decided to use something that could be seen by an audience. A hamper for $35 like this is far superior in quality to anything you could find for the price. It's attractive, stylish, even quite durable. This is my favorite.
My wife and I were having an argument, and this solved it. We alternate doing the laundry from time to time. Sometimes I do it, sometimes she does it. One hamper would save her the trouble of carrying it to the machines in more than one trip. Having 2 hampers will save me time sorting clothes as I'm getting them ready to put in the machine. Simply put, I like the Home double laundry hamper. It makes work easier for me because we can separate dirty clothes as we put them in the hamper, and it makes work easier for her because she can carry all the clothes at once. Despite the fact that it features a lid, the hamper looks very nice as well. It saves my marriage to have BirdRock as a friend ) I only joked. Even though we love this hamper a lot, you can even take the bags of laundry individually if you want.
While it looks nice, the hamper came with the unwanted bonus of a strong smoke smell that lingered forever. There were many brushfires in California that affected many homes and businesses, so my guess would be that the supplier warehouse is in California. I feel like I have wasted my money on this hamper since the bag protected it from smoke, but the smell still renders it useless. The smell was not gone after I took it out of the bag, assembled it, and let it air out, but I tried it again. I smell smoke all the time in my house because of this strong smell. There is an extremely strong smell coming from this place that will make you nauseated. Since the hamper is made of natural fibers, it is not possible to wash the smell away. There's nothing good about it at all. The hamper looks nice and it would be a good gift. As I don't have the time to go through the process of returning it, I will just take a loss.
It's one star only because of the smell of chemicals, which I believe is dangerous and obvious. I was up all night coughing and sneezing with my dog. Putting it outside and spraying it down took care of the problem. It has been almost a week since the smell started. This is disappointing because the product itself seems so sleek and sturdy, but the fact that the smell doesn't seem to go away may make me return the product. I would recommend fixing this problem for future purchasers.
