We cannot determine the weight of the bag, but it holds 7 - 8 gallons I can fit a 1/2' artificial tree quite comfortably in my studio. If I do this next year, I will stuff the limbs into a bed sheet with the limbs on top so 1) the bag is a little more protected, 2) the contents are easier to slip into the bag, and 3) the contents can be rolled up more tightly.

It is definitely a good item to recommend. The box where my 6 ft tree was originally packed was able to fit inside. The space left over from my two 9ft thick garlands and door wreath was still enough to create another wreath. It is only a little hard to move around since the sides don't have a lot of structure and feel flimsy. The only way for it to be easily folded when not in use is to fold it into a smaller size before storing it.
