I haven't done that with the bag, but if you're looking for something with hard sides, this is a good option. That is not the case with this bag. It's similar to a duffel bag, but it's a little larger. It can withstand the weight of airport luggage.
My tree is an old one. 8 ft. lit and easily fits The bag is sturdy, and the zipper moves easily, so it should be fine if your tree is fairly malleable.
This bag is made of canvas. It's fantastic, and I highly recommend it. My 6-and-a-half-foot Christmas tree was a perfect fit!
On both sides and at one end, no.

Xmas trees, each measuring 7' in height. Well, I purchased this bag in the summer of 2017 (at the same time as I purchased a new tree), but I didn't get to test the "proper fit" until after Christmas 2017 (after I had fully "fluffed" my new Xmas tree to its full size potential) and I took down my tree for yearly storage. I knew two things after spending more than an hour "properly fluffing" my new tree out of the original shipping box: 1) I didn't want to "defluff" the tree if I could avoid it, and 2) it would never fit back into the original shipping box. I had planned ahead and purchased this bag at the same time as my new tree, so it wasn't a problem. br>br>As for the bag, it is of excellent quality. At least in terms of the bag's material being tough enough to withstand tree branches poking it. It's quite spacious for its intended tree market (I'd say anyone with a 7' to 7' tree). 3' tree in 5' pot The components will fit together perfectly). The bag is not very rigid, and the shape of the bag will be determined by the tree inside. Also, there is no such thing as a "bottom" to this bag, so if you want something solid on the bottom, I'd recommend using either your tree's shipping box or another piece of cardboard to add some extra support. If you have a tree that is 7' or taller, you should consider getting a larger bag; this bag is best for 3-foot trees. Trees in the 7' range as a piece.
This bag was only used to hold our seven children. Until next year, we'll keep a 5-foot tree in our attic. Though this may not matter to some, getting the tree through our attic opening of about 2 ft x 3 ft was a little more difficult because the bag expands somewhat and doesn't keep the rectangular shape as well once the tree is inside. Overall, the bag is fantastic, and I strongly advise you to purchase it. It's just that in our case, having something in the bag to provide more rigidity might be preferable.
Well,ok! This is fantastic! I bought it to hold the extra long rolls of Christmas wrapping paper we've accumulated, not to store a Christmas tree, though that would probably be fine as well. We have several zip bags for wrapping paper, but they aren't large enough to hold the long rolls. I can now put all of my Christmas wrapping paper, bags, and other items in this bag and use the other bags for non-Christmas wrapping paper. Yea! So buy 2. One is for the tree, while the other is for the wrapping. Everything is in order.
This was purchased to store our 8'6" Christmas tree, which is broken down into three pieces. The tree fit perfectly in this bag, with plenty of room left over for lights and decorations. The bag is made of a durable material that is similar to ripstop and should last a long time. We are extremely pleased with our purchase and would strongly advise others to do so.
A five-foot-tall tree had been cut down and was now in pieces. This was ideal for our three-person team. piece 7. Tree with a height of 5 feet. We initially purchased a larger bag, but there was so much extra space that the tree moved too much for us to feel safe going up and down from the attic. This smaller bag fits more snugly and is easier to handle as you descend the attic ladder. We just need to make sure the longest piece (48") will fit, which it does on an angle. The remaining items were simply crammed in with plenty of room to spare. Although I would prefer something with a more rigid frame, such as a box, this does the trick. Next year, we might add some cardboard to the interior walls. The material is a tough canvas (think army surplus backpack), and the strap handle on one end made lifting it to the attic a breeze.
5 . Not only is it big enough to hold my 7, but it's also practical. It was a small tree, but it fit my lit door swag perfectly. For a soft-touch material, it keeps its shape fairly well. cover.
Fabric is of excellent quality. I'm not worried about it tearing or puncturing because of its heavy weight. The load is supported by straps that go all the way around. If I had more than one tree, I would do it again!.
