Questions & Answers
The lights must be turned on by spinning the wheel.
While the photo shows mini lights and what appear to be C7 bulbs, I get the impression that they were designed specifically for mini lights because the reels couldn't hold many larger bulbs and the carrier space was limited.
10 feet from side to side, 11 feet from top to bottom at its highest point, and 12 feet from front to back
A nylon web handle is stitched into the top panel of the bag. The handle is flat, allowing the bags to be stacked. However, stacking too many isn't very stable!

This product performs admirably in the overall scheme of things. The wheels were simple to put together and fit perfectly inside the bag. br>br>The plastic wheels are flimsy, and I'm not sure how long they'll last. br>br>Moreover, the product description claims that the wheels can hold 125 feet of mini lights. However, don't believe it for a second. I've included a photo of one of the wheels, which only has 66' of lights on it. I MIGHT be able to get another 10' on there, but it would be tight and the wheel would overflow. Their claim of a 125-foot mini light is way off the mark.
I wish it was a heavy fabric rather than a mix of plastic and fabric. Zippers are substantial in weight. It'll probably suffice for me, as it'll be stored in a plastic tub. I wish there was a way to make it all one big wheel so I could wrap my lights more easily. I have 160 feet of icicle lights, and none of them fit as well as I had hoped. Next year, I may be able to come up with a solution. It should suffice for my needs.
These were used to keep old C9 Christmas lights organized. They didn't fit on the wheel according to one reviewer, but I was able to get one strand on each wheel. AND WITH THE LIGHTS ON, ALL THREE WHEELS FIT IN THE BAG. To make room, make sure the cords are weaved in between the lights. However, I'm not sure if my fiancée would like this, primarily because he connects two strands at a time, and these wheels can only hold one strand of C9 lights each. Because these are old strands from a few years ago, I can't tell you how long they are.
They are extremely effective. It's very simple to mount the lights on the reel, and they'll perform admirably. It was a little difficult to figure out how to put them together, but I was able to do so and am very pleased with the results.
Santa's Bags light totes have been in my possession for several years. They were in short supply, and I was in desperate need of more. I came back to the brand that meets my needs after trying out other brands and returning them. These are the only Christmas light totes I've ever seen that can hold two strands of 5mm LED string lights on a single reel AND STILL FIT IN THE TOTE. Other brands of reels will accommodate two strands, but the totes will not hold the full reels. These totes are large enough to accommodate the reels with lights attached. Assembly of the reels is extremely simple. A spinning handle in the middle literally snaps the halves together. They're made of durable canvas, and the zippers appear to be heavy-duty. My old ones are around 8 years old and still look and function perfectly. I'm hoping the new ones will last as long as the old ones did. Santa's Bags are the most wonderful!.
This is the third time I've bought something like this. I've continued to buy because of the reels and case as my lighting collection has grown. It is simple to store.
Not the best use of space, but if you need to store a bunch of light strings and don't want to fiddle with them, this is the way to go. If you want to play with tangles, these are a good place to start. The wheels themselves feel a little flimsy, but I'm confident that they'll hold up. maybe. br>br>It's also useful for storing light extension cables, which is entertaining.
I'm hoping he'll put them to good use. It's a present for a dear friend who has too many totes full of random strands of lights, so I got him this to see if he'll use them. I'm going to go through all of those bags for him and start planning for next year.
