Yes. On a block wall, we have four of them installed.
To make the depth needed for peg inserts, each edge is bent with two 90-degree bends. Only about 1/2" is bent at the end. To prevent "oil canning" (sheet metal flexing), the panels' centers will be devoid of support. If you go back to back, you'll need to reinforce the centers and end up with a pegboard that's about 1" thick on both sides.
These metal panels were not 16" center to center, in my opinion. They were 15 at the time, if my memory serves me correctly. The distance between the two points is 5 inches. I had to drill starter holes and angle long screws into the studs because my basement workshop isn't sheetrocked and has 2x4" studs that are 16" apart. I managed to get two walls set up with two panels each - side-by- The supporting long screws are angled into the studs on one side, and the edge holes on the panels have wide enough outside holes to allow for some 'fudging' with the screws on the other side. I hope this has been of assistance.

For my gun room, I used these with the wall control hooks. I wasn't sure how it would turn out, but I'm very pleased with the results! The firearms are kept secure by pegboard and wall control hooks. It's not easy to get all the boards to line up straight, but it turned out better than I expected.
First and foremost, the packaging must be improved. Near the corners of mine, there were a few minor creases or bends. Apart from that, the paint is nice and these are high-quality pieces. br>br>I've always wanted to use these but couldn't justify the cost for the number of panels I'd need, say in my garage. I figured using it as a feature on the wall behind my gaming/office area would be a good place to start. br>br>The anchors that are provided are of excellent quality. Normally, I would throw away the junk anchors that a manufacturer provides, but not these. br>br>I bought led light strips to backlight these for that extra WOW factor POP and flair. br>br>Overall, I think this turned out great and serves a practical purpose now that I've put my 24th scale rc crawlers and tools away.
Except for the packaging, the peg board is fantastic. There was nothing to protect the corners of one of the boards, which were bent and dented, except a plastic bag and the cardboard box it came in.
When used alone, these panels are truly incredible. br>br>They aren't compatible with their vertical siblings because the panels aren't the same size. About a third of an inch is off. br>br>I'm attaching a photo of the final product (which looks pretty good) as well as a zoomed-in photo of the offset. br>br>Some pieces are difficult to remove; simply work them out a little at a time; the most difficult piece took about 5 seconds to remove. When I need to move them, the majority are fairly simple.
I really like this metal pegboard, and I would have given it 5 stars if the standard pegboard hooks from Lowes and other stores didn't fit well in the holes, being too small and slopping around. I had to use clear shipping tape to keep the hooks in place. I guess you'll need 1/4" hooks, so I'll have to go look for them now. I like the idea of the slotted accessories they sell, but they're quite pricey when compared to other options. the eye hooks.
The item is packaged in an unpadded cardboard box. My box was open on one side and one of the panels was bent when it arrived. The board itself appears to be fairly sturdy and lightweight, making it suitable for use indoors. It comes with mounting materials for both direct screw and drywall mounting. br>br> The drywall anchors, on the other hand, aren't up to the task. And there are only 15 mounting holes. They will not fit if your wall studs are narrow because they are 5" apart in the horizontal axis, despite the fact that they say 16". *edit - br>br>br>*edit - br>br>br>br>br When I tried to mount it, I discovered that it didn't sit flush against the wall due to the bend. an image is attached.
I'm in a wheelchair, so I needed a pegboard that was both easy to reach and sturdy enough to hold whatever I wanted to hang. I aligned two panels horizontally end to end. These are metal panels that come with all of the necessary hanging hardware (pegboard hooks are not included; I bought them separately). Only the panels are the subject of my review). My assistant was able to put them up on her own, as long as she made sure they were screwed into studs. These panels have made my life so much easier and my craft studio so much more enjoyable to work in. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a metal pegboard that can be used indoors and is strong enough to hold even the heaviest of items.
First and foremost, these are metal, which I desired, but they are heavy and the mounting holes do not line up for mounting on studs; you can use the center stud top and bottom holes, but your outer holes will be approximately 5/8" apart from the other studs. br>br>Poor design. They do include sheetrock anchors, but I wouldn't recommend using them because they are a heavy piece to begin with, and adding hardware, tools, and other items will, in my opinion, stress the mounts. They also come in a box with no corner protection. br>br> My first order was damaged when it arrived, and it had to be returned. I wouldn't have ordered the replacement if I hadn't tried to hang it because of the damage. br>br>Had this been designed better, it would have been preferable to Masonite or plastic because magnets are available. If the product could be properly installed, the price was reasonable. In my application, I was able to use four mounting holes because I had a window frame with a stud bite. br>br>I hope this information was useful.
