You can only pick up one stud because the length is 17" and the width is 1". The pressure of removing and installing the brooms and mops will cause the dry wall anchors to fail. Best wishes to you.
You can only pick up one stud at a time. I hung a 1" x 4" board from the studs, painted it, and then hung the holder on it. As I discovered the hard way, dry wall anchors do not work. That's why I put that board in place, and I wish you the best of luck.
If I were to hang this on a hollow core door, I'd probably go with Hollow-Core. Because they provide extra support on the backside of the panels, wall anchors are a good choice.
Yes. I've now added one to the list. However, I used better screws to secure it to the wall. I didn't use any of the adhesive or screws that came with it because I didn't think they were strong enough.

It's sturdy, and it holds my kayak paddles, as well as my broom and mop, in a small cloakroom. It also includes handy screw caps to hide the screws and give it a more finished appearance! In less than 5 minutes, you'll have your system up and running. I used the number two. I used the double-sided tape that came with it to keep it from moving around while screwing it into the closet wall, then finished by screwing it in. It's a metal rack with a bit more weight to it than the plastic one. br>It's something I'd suggest!.
It's made of chrome, and it's exactly the right size. I'm really happy. MANY THANKS TO AMAZON!.
The hanger would have gotten five stars if it weren't for the cheap, low-quality wall anchors. I can only recommend that you replace them with better ones. I gave up after struggling with the ones that came with it and went out and bought some more durable anchors. Now that it's up and working, it's unlikely to come loose from the wall.
So the product is nice in and of itself. But when it comes to 3M sticking, that's a no! Even with light items such as brooms and swiffers, it continued to rain. Recommendation: If you are looking for a unique way to express yourself, Use screws because it will fall in a month's time, especially if you put more than one thing on it.
We were unable to drill an additional hole because the steel is so tough (the drill bit broke!). My only gripe is that the holes aren't drilled at standard stud spacing, so the utensils end up being too close to the wall.
I'm not sure why I didn't buy it ten years ago. It's so convenient to be able to neatly store mops and brooms. I used stronger wall anchors than the ones included with the unit and used all three screws to secure it to the wall. The screw anchors that came with the unit were tried, and at first only the outside screws were used, but removing items from the holders seemed to pull the unit away from the wall a little. However, with those minor tweaks, it's now in good shape. fastened. I'm having trouble getting the screw covers to cover the washers and conceal the screws. That is something I am still working on.
Only thin, skinny rods can fit in the grip part because it is so small. We can't really use all of the grips and hooks because they're all too close together.
