I've seen it all after renovating a number of locations. and the majority of it has been junk and/or poorly designed over the last 25 years. In every way, this is a well-made product: the metal isn't flimsy or thin, the hooks are well-mounted, and the spring catches for the broom handles and other items are the nicest I've seen. The stainless screws even include special washers and caps to give them a professional appearance. To the manufacturer or supplier, I only have one suggestion. Please produce a garage-sized unit with six (6) occupants. There are 8 slots for items like "broom/shovel handle"! Maybe give the catches and hooks a little more room. You did an excellent job!.
I'm overjoyed that I finally found this broom holder because I've been looking for one for quite some time; I don't want a plastic one, so I prefer this one, which is made of stainless steel and has a nice design. br>However, the joy faded away just a few days ago, having lasted less than two weeks. When I return from outside, I discover that the mop, broom, and brushes have all been left on the floor! Yes, the broom holder did fall off the wall, and I was irritated that the hook's glue remained stuck to the wall. I attempted to re-record the conversation. The hook was stuck, but it only lasted a few minutes before falling off. Okay, it got the best of me; I remembered there were screws in the package, so I dug out the gadgets and attempted to nail the hook to the wall, but it let me down once more; the plastic stud used to secure the screws was easily broken. So, I'll have to go out and buy some new backs. I'll be able to reuse them for a while, but I'm not sure how long they'll last. I'll keep you updated. I would not recommend it in general.
Pros:
- In contrast to the easily broken plastic hook, the metal hook holder appears to be strong and durable.
- This design appears to be overly simple, but it is very effective.
- Hooks and racks are used together.
- Installing is done in one of two ways: self- screws and adhesives- drilling. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product.
- The clip is not very tight, allowing the handle to slide down. This could be due to the cheap material used, as well as the clip's lack of elasticity.
- Adhesion does not work well. I'm not sure if it's a genuine 3M because the seller said it's 3M, but I'm not sure if it's a fake or not. I've used 3M before and it's great, but this one, I doubt it's a genuine 3M.
- Vine Customer Review of a Free Product I always read a lot of reviews before purchasing anything on Amazon. Although there aren't many reviews for this product, it does have a rating of five stars. The majority of the reviews are Vine Customers Review of Free Product; I'm not sure if those who receive free products have a genuine desire to use them for an extended period of time, but I'm more inclined to believe those who spend money on products and leave comments after using them for a few days. You get what you pay for, and most people prefer free items.
- I attempted to obtain assistance, but aside from Amazon's assistance, I received no assistance from the seller. br>br>I'm annoyed by the stickiness, but I like the fact that it's stainless steel. So one star is appropriate, but two is appropriate because it is metal.
It took about 35 minutes for a dum dum like me to complete. A stud finder, a level, a hammer, an ikea drill, and a 1/8 drill bit were all necessities. It comes with drywall anchors and screws (as well as an extra set of parts). The decorative screw covers were a bit of a stumbling block for me. To avoid having to repeat steps like I did, play with it before mounting it.
In my opinion, the fact that it is made of metal rather than plastic is a major plus. In addition, the broom clips are metal, so they appear to last longer than plastic ones. It fits in a small space and has hooks on the back so you can hang it by tying a string to the end of another cleaning tool. My brooms and mops are stored in my garage, right next to the back door, so I don't have to keep them in the house.
The item appears to be well-made with a nice finish. Take note that the mounting hardware is extremely inexpensive; if you already have drywall anchors, they are almost certainly of higher quality than the ones provided. It'll be even better if you can drill it directly into a stud and secure it with dry wall screws. This thing clings to the handles with a ferocious grip. It's difficult to get them in and get them out. I ended up bending the metal brackets outward, which made it easier to grip. They won't grip if you bend them too far, so take care. My broom and mop can now be easily inserted and removed. I was about to rip the thing out of the wall when I realized what I was about to do. So far, it's held up.
My mood and brooms are hung on the basement stairwell's wall. Brooms would always fall off my old utility rack in the middle of the night, clattering down the stairs. No more! The handles simply pop in and out of this rack, making it extremely secure yet simple to use. It also takes up about a third of the space that my old rack did, allowing for more stairwell space. It appeals to me.
The item's quality surpassed my expectations. The finish is excellent, and the screws and anchors are in good condition. made. The screws have stainless steel caps to cover the screw heads, and they appear to be made of stainless steel. For a well-made product, the price is reasonable. product that has been made.
br>br>In any case, it's fantastic. With a satisfying and secure thunk, tools go in and out. (Seriously, I could open and close them all day; they have the feel of a good car door. ) ) Holds the tool handle securely in any position along the length of the handle. I even have a heavy-duty truck. In addition to the usual rakes, brooms, and other items, one of the slots has a pair of massive bolt cutters. )br>br>Also has some hooks that can be useful for accessories, cables, and other small items. br>br>My only criticism is that it isn't very long, and the holders are close together. Of course it is cheap enough that you could just install a few of them, but if I were designing it, I would space them a bit more and make the overall product.
