I was fed up with trying to keep the broom and Swiffer mop from moving around after our first trip with the new RV trailer. I didn't want any cracks in my walls, either. As a result, I hung these with Command Picture Hangers. Both the mop and the broom had one top and bottom. It's fantastic! They were held in place for the duration of the second trip and went nowhere. When the RV is in use, they are no longer underfoot. For us, these were a huge game changer.
So I ordered one set to see how durable they are, as my partner is a bit rough with his belongings. They passed the test with flying colors! The anchors were a little flimsy, so I substituted some other anchors I had on hand, but that was no big deal; otherwise, they are fantastic!.
These are far superior to the stick-on versions. I really like how there's rubber in the middle to prevent slippage. br>I needed something for my refrigerator, but there were none that were magnetic. So I got some wood, put some magnets on it, and it turned out to be quite lovely.
The grips' stainless steel casing is sharp, scratching the tool for which they were purchased. It has enough sharpness to sever a finger. The problem could be resolved with a little smoothing off at the factory. It's all packed up and ready to go.
The holder part isn't squarely fastened to the backplate, but it's not bad enough to prevent the item from performing its intended function. The mounting shields appear to be an afterthought. I had to use some shields I had lying around because the standard size (most household shields require either a 3'16" or 1/4" hole) was not available. The included instructions don't say how big of a hole you should drill. The shields that came with the kit were too big for a 3/16" hole and too small for a 1/4" hole.
Mounting hardware is included, and it's very simple to install on a wall. This product has exceeded my expectations.
This does exactly what it's supposed to do. I used screws instead of glue, and it worked out perfectly. My problem is that it is as decorative as it appears in the photo and appears to be a little cheap due to the metal's pliable nature.
The product appears to be well-made in general. The only minor issue is that the decorative caps for the screws will not stay in place and will pop off. Holding tools with clamps is a good idea.
