Questions & Answers

What is the weight unit for each shelf, as well as for the entire unit? Where does it say 150 pounds per shelf and 150 pounds total for castors?

On casters, each shelf can hold up to 70 pounds.

Is it possible to purchase a cart cover for this cart?

Is there a divider available for the smallest bin in Seville? This set came with dividers for the two largest bins, but I couldn't find any for the smaller bins. ?

Is it better to put the shelves up or down depending on whether the lip is up or down? I'd like to know - before I go any further. Does it make a difference? At the moment, the lip is up and the bottom shelf is in place. ?

Lip up is a term I'm unfamiliar with. I assume you're referring to the ledge at the back of the shelf, which would be raised to keep bins from falling off the back. Furthermore, because the holes are tapered to lock in, the shelf should only go one way. I hope you found this information useful.

EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO BUILD
3/5

First and foremost, let me state unequivocally that I do not write Amazon reviews. One is currently being written by me. This is going to be a NIGHT. MARE. I used to work in a grocery store and have built many a metro, and I have never been more enraged while building something in my life; the setup instructions defy the laws of physics; do not follow them. Because you bang one side of the rubber mallet down over the spacers and the other side pops up, it did nothing to help secure the shelves. The spacers fall off the pole as you slam the other side down. If you decide to purchase this item, you should look up how to build a metro or something similar on YouTube because it says to put the wheels on the poles first. The shelf should then be slid over the poles and slammed against the spacers. Bruh, how's it going? You've got four friends who can help you build a shelf by each holding a pole steady while it's rolling around on a wheel, waiting for you to slam it down? I don't have any, to be honest. I'm in my garage trying to clean up my tool table, and I had no idea I'd have to throw a pizza party at 2 p. m. on Father's Day to get a shelf built.

Great product, though "some assembly required" is a bit of a misnomer
5/5

I just finished putting together the second one of these. I cannot express how impressed I am with the quality and design. However, the instructions lead you to believe that it is easier to put together than it is. Actually, once you get the first (bottom) shelf up, it's a piece of cake, but the first one is difficult. I'd like to share a few improvements to the directions that I found to be very useful. br>1) The instructions state that the top and bottom halves of the poles should be screwed together first, but this is not the case. First, assemble the bottom half of the cart, then attach the top poles to begin assembling the upper shelves. It makes the initial assembly process a little less difficult. br>2) Installing the bottom shelf without the plastic retaining rings slipping off and flying around the room is extremely difficult. I started by duct taping the four retaining rings on the poles. The bottom of the plastic ring is only covered by about a quarter of an inch. Then, when you put that difficult first shelf together, everything stays in place. I left the duct tape in place because it causes no harm. It really works. br>3) You're supposed to tap with a rubber mallet, according to the instructions. Securely lower the shelves. That's an excellent suggestion. I pounded down lightly with the heel of my hand, which also worked. br>br>As I previously stated, I think the design is fantastic. Those plastic retaining rings may appear odd at first, but they are extremely effective. They seem to magically snap into place.

It's impossible to beat when it comes to clutter management
4/5

Last year, I received an 8-point raise. I was blown away by how much junk it could organize using a three-tier model. This 7- The tier model has one fewer row and is a little shorter. It tucks neatly beneath a shelf in a closet, where the 8-foot-tall 8-foot-tall 8-foot-tall 8 The tier model is a little too tall for the space. It appears that this is the only color available for this 7-inch device. The tier model is a silver shelf with grey bins (it's actually a silver-toned silver-toned silver-toned silver-toned silver-toned silver-toned silver It's a grey pewter color, not the bright chrome shown in the official photos. The 8- Tier models are available in two colors: silver with blue bins and black with yellow bins. If you have the vertical space, the 8-foot version is a good choice. Even though it's a little more expensive, the tier model is worth it because of the extra storage bins - There is no such thing as too much storage. br>br>This one has two rows of large, medium, and small bins, but one with two rows of large and four medium (no small) is also available. The grey plastic bins come in three shades of grey, which aren't visible in the official photos: The large bins are slightly darker than the medium bins, while the small bins are slightly lighter. It's a nice, understated detail. If you want to label the bins, you'll get two sizes of labels. br>br>The entire shelf is packaged in a single large box that measures approximately 1 x 1. 5 x 3. 5' tall (based on memory) and weighs in at around 50 pounds. 60 lbs). It takes around 20 minutes to put everything together. It takes 30 minutes and can be completed by one person, but it is preferable to have a helper (the shelf is shaky). Until you get a few racks in place, it'll be fragile). br>br>1st assembly tip: There are locking wheels on two of the four wheels. type. Decide which side of the shelf you want them on before you start putting them together (usually the front so you can easily access the brakes to turn them on or off). This shelf can be used without the wheels, but it may scratch the floor. br>br>Tip #2 for assembly: As you push the rack down onto the shelf clips, they may slip out of their locking groove/detent (as some reviewers experienced). Hold each one firmly in place while pressing the shelf down on it one at a time; once they're seated properly, the shelf pressing down keeps them firmly locked in place. They can be unlocked by lifting the shelf up. If you need more clips, you can purchase them on Amazon. br>br>These bins require wire racks that are specifically designed for them. If you try to place these bins on a regular wire shelf, they will not fit. They won't hang down at an angle when pulled halfway out, as this shelf does (a clever design feature). design feature that is beneficial). As a result, purchasing these bins separately and placing them on a regular wire shelf will not be as effective.

This is an OUTSTANDING garage or basement storage unit! The only thing I regret about this AMAZING storage unit is that I didn't get it sooner
5/5

There aren't enough positive things I can say about this unit. It's completely changed the look and feel of my garage. The mess has largely vanished. Neat. In a good way. Now I'm aware of the location of everything. It's well-made and long-lasting. Bins made of plastic are extremely durable. This is one of my favorite units. Yes, I am aware that it is somewhat costly. That's exactly what I was thinking. However, now that I've got it, I'm going to use it. I'm glad I went ahead and bought it. It's also very simple to put together. If you don't keep both locking wheels in the front and the shelf on the opposite side, you'll have to disassemble it to repair it. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about, haha.

It does not give me a sense of security
3/5

I had previously purchased something very similar and enjoyed it; in fact, we have bins full of heavy-duty tools. This unit has a lot of "shakiness" to it. It moves when you touch it, as if the shelves aren't properly braced, and it doesn't feel secure (despite the fact that it's properly put together). I wouldn't put much stock in it. I had hoped to use it to store nails because as a builder, we use a wide variety of nails and can never find the right ones due to the way they are currently stored. Only the bottom two shelves would likely be used by me.

It's simple to put together, and it's incredibly sturdy
5/5

It also has a lot of storage space. Many people claimed that this was difficult to put together, but I believe that they misunderstood the physics of the pressure clips. It took me less than 20 minutes to put together, and it's rock solid. I'm already a fan. It did a great job of organizing my she'd equipment. It also appears to be built to last a lifetime.
