Questions & Answers
Yes, the panels are cut to a dead 48" length, so if one edge is nailed to a stud, the far edge will obviously not be nailed to a stud. You could cut the panel shorter so it ends on the third stud, which is easy to do with a miter saw. If you mount to three studs instead of four, the maximum capacity will likely be reduced, but this is unlikely to affect your application unless you plan to load it up. No matter where you lag the mounting screws, the groove will not interfere with anything.
I've had mine for about 8 months and have never had a hook lift up or fall off the wall while I was using it to hang shovels, brooms, blowers, tools, and other items. They're incredibly safe. This system is fantastic.
Yes, the panel can be cut down to 36" in length. We recommend using a miter saw with a fine tooth / finishing blade for the best results. It's best to have at least 60T.

Complete transparency; This item was ordered in Sandstone, but when it arrived, it was grey. Because I'm not a do-it-yourselfer, I had a contactor ready to install this. Despite the fact that this grey was my second choice, I decided to have him install it. br>Now that it's installed, I think I got lucky because the grey might have been a better choice. br>br>I decided to email the company about the mix-up and put their customer service to the test, and I'm happy to report that they responded the next day with their apologies and offered to send me one of their three basic attachment kits at no cost. Despite the fact that this is exactly what I had hoped for, the cost of these kits (over 42% of my initial order) was still a pleasant surprise. I chose the Universal 10pc kit (the cheapest of the three), which costs more than $55 on Amazon right now. I was so impressed with the wall, as well as the excellent customer service, that I decided to purchase a Crownwall basket and shelf system to finish off my wall. I uploaded the photos, and as you can see, I've filled the wall to capacity, which I think looks fantastic. Now I have a long-lasting, waterproof backsplash/wall that I can rearrange as needed. If you're considering interior applications, here's something to think about: Traditional wall coverings are thicker than this one. So, if you have any outlets that you want to keep open; To achieve the finished look shown in the photos, you'll need to buy outlet extenders. They don't appear to be prohibitively expensive or difficult to install, but, once again; That is why I employ the services of a freelancer.
br>br>Because it didn't come with instructions, I scratched my head a little to make sure I wasn't going to hang it the wrong way. I sent them an email, and Marcello promptly responded with a link to the online instructions as well as some floor-planning suggestions. plan for the ceiling It did have J- in it. br>br> Side tracks and a snap-on lid I'm going to use the bottom trim from the second kit for the top, and the top trim from the first kit for the bottom, or vice versa. It attracts dust and pet hair just like any other material (PVC, so that's not surprising). br>br>I believe it will be more practical and durable than using drywall to finish the basement workshop. So, I had some issues, but their quick and helpful customer service helped me get things back on track.
I'm amazed at how badly this company messed up. They only had one task to complete: Cut all of the panels to the same length so that they can fit into the side panels. Instead, all of the panels have been altered by up to two inches in length or width. This basically means that installation is out of the question. What a shambles of a mess. I'd like new panels that are all the same length to be sent to me by the company. Now I'm sitting with two of the eight panels on the wall, and I'm afraid I'm going to ruin my wall unless they send me new ones. I'll say it again: this product stinks.
There are a few that aren't. For each batch of slats, the lengths were slightly different. The length of some batches varies by almost an inch. Now I either have to trim every slat to fit the previous section of panels or try to return each batch that was incorrectly sized. Paying so much for a premium is extremely inconvenient. prodict that isn't held to a high standard of quality. I mean, how difficult can it be to cut something exactly 8 feet long? The service was prompt, and the product is extremely useful, but the additional work was extremely aggravating.
Simple to set up. This item is extremely durable. The rest of the panel goes together quickly once you've installed the first panel correctly and leveled it. In the future, I intend to purchase more.
It's a well-made piece that isn't cheap. I'm very pleased with the appearance of my shed. Generic hooks, on the other hand, can be used to save a lot of money.
I think their slatwall is a fantastic product, but I ordered the wrong color and had to pay $45 in shipping costs to return it. I expected them to help me out because I need to purchase a few more kits, but they didn't. Overall, I think it's a fantastic product; I'm just a little salty about it.
I like how it looks on the wall of my garage. It's sturdy, but it's a pain to put together. Written and video instructions could be improved upon. Sliding the panels into place is a difficult task.
