The screw hole on the foot piece is, however, not as good as it could be. The stacking of two of these leaves me with 3 of them. You can upgrade your closet with it and it looks really nice. There was a bunch of plastic in one of the holes for the screw-in feet that wouldn't come out, making it impossible to screw it in. I gave it a 4 star review instead of 5 stars. The order of the stacking was adjusted to make that one the upper level one (which does not require a foot), so the foot lever piece isn't needed. In order to avoid complaining about it to the company, I didn't do so. I would need to have a workable foot on that one if I ever am putting it on the ground level. In my case, stacking it worked for my needs.

This is a sturdy enough toy. Assembling this furniture is extremely easy. There are two of them that stack well. I wouldn't add any weight more than that to it, but it is strong enough for shoes. plan to stack them, keep in mind that you can only stack two at a time. The plastic clamps you need to stack two of these are included with each rack, and each rack comes with one housing clamp. In case you buy two racks, you will have the correct amount of stacking clamps to stack them exactly two at a time. To stack a third rack, you need 2 set of clamps, not the one that came with the third rack because you would only have one set of clamps for While it seems sturdy enough to stack three on top of each other, there are not enough stacking clamps to make this work. In order to achieve this, it would be nice if the manufacturer provided two stacking clamps with each rack.

The two I bought are in good condition. One of the racks had holes that did not line up with each other. It took my husband a while to drill a new hole in the rack to get it to sit level It is possible to build these racks with either tilted or level racks because there are two sets of holes. It was almost like we sent the wrong leg, regardless of how hard we tried to assemble it. A simple fix that wouldn't have been worth spending the money on. Considering we have so many junk shoe racks, I thought that by spending a little extra money I'd be getting a better one. Although the racks themselves are not bad, they aren't top-of-the-line. We have a running joke in our house where my husband makes fun of my purchases, telling me it's junk, but if it's not solid oak, then he believes it's Apart from the rack which was sent with the wrong leg and the extra work required to drill a few holes, the racks are lightweight and hold the shoes just fine.
