This item is very sturdy and visually appealing. Since the top was chip board, I did not care about the fact that it was chip board since there was a solid metal base and I could replace the top with solid wood if it turned out not to be satisfactory. The chip board is in great condition upon delivery, As it is small, it is a perfect place to take off and put on shoes The original would have been unnecessary if it had been larger. Here is a picture of the chip board and scale to give you an idea of scale. I am happy with the product and would recommend it.

I thought the quality would be lower for $50, but it was actually rather good. Because it is small, I wanted it, and it matches a liquor cabinet I purchased from Amazon a year earlier. In addition to serving its purpose, it is also reasonably priced. It looks great and I like it in my home. The only down side is that I wish the shelves had more height to keep my work boots standing up, but no big deal. Like it a lot in my home.

One strike There was a problem with the hole on one of the legs that didn't line up with where the bolt needed to go. The second strike is The customer service number for Songmics couldn't be found easily. A third strike has been issued A message said that the person I was trying to reach was unavailable I contacted the number again, but was met with an automated message. If you would like to leave a message, please do so after the beep. I really like the look of this, and reaming out the hole with a file would be difficult, so it must be a durable metal. However, I need a drill to fix the hole so the assembly can be completed. If I can get a new leg with holes that are line up properly, I'll give this five stars.

It is the right size for a room or even as an entryway. A pair of shoes fits comfortably in six of these spaces. At first, I was hesitant to buy it because of the cost, but after receiving it, building it, and using it, I feel it's entirely worth the investment. I have read the other reviews but only received one I also received compliments on my shoe rack, how frequent is that? I added some furniture pads to the bottom feet of the legs even though the stubs on each leg are plastic, so that the wood floors would not be scratched or marred. There are a few issues with the bottom of the feet as they feel a bit abrasive (see attached photo). As a whole, I am impressed by the quality and the appearance of the shoe rack. In addition, I would recommend this product to my friends.
